Camp Three Forks , Three Forks, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely park with lots of shade and grass areas. Peaceful at times however nearby dogs barked a lot. Also couldn't understand why campfires were allowed when the Montana sky was a blanket of smoke due to NW fires. Decent wifi and good cell service with verizon. We camped at Camp Three Forks in a Motorhome.

North Lake RV Park and Campground, Kettle Falls, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice little campground that is being renovated by the new owners. They are a Good Sam campground, and therefore, offer a 10% discount to members. Don't let the seasonal and long term residents discourage you as you pull in. Once you are in the park it is very well kept and beautiful. It sits near Lake Roosevelt which which is accessible by a short nature walk. Paddle boats can be rented at the office. The campground offers older, but very clean restrooms, showers, a camp store, and a laundry facility. There is also a beautiful grassy area with playground equipment, horse shoes, and a BBQ. There are a couple of group fire pits and each of the RV sites has its own fire ring. There are pull through sites available and lots of shade. They also have the cutest little cabins for rent which was nice when we had friends visit during our stay. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely come back! Very quiet and peaceful. We camped at North Lake RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Crazy Horse RV Campground, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very run down poorly maintained park. There were no caps on the sewer lines just open pipes in the ground. The showers were very poorly maintained and not clean at all. We were able to hook up to 30 amp only at our site so I am not sure about the availability of 50 amp. The campground had what appeared to be several full time tenants that lived there. There is obviously no regulations or rules about how a site is to be maintained. We camped at Crazy Horse RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park but not much shade. Sites have concrete patios with gravel pads. Very level and easy access. Nice restaurant with good entertainment on premises. A gated community with Camping World on site. Full hook ups, laundry, and exercise room, however some of the exercise equipment was not working. Very clean and well maintained. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Far Horizons RV Resort(formerly Far Horizons Tucson Village) (55+park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

A great park! Lots of room and scheduled activities. Great facilities included laundry, pool game room, TV room, library, arts and crafts room, sewing room and more. Very friendly and helpful staff. Full hookups with concrete pads that are very level. A gated community with hiking, photography clubs and others that I am sure I did not find out about. Exercise classes and line dancing lessons. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi but we could go to the club house or computer room and get access without problems. A very nice place to stay but not a lot of shade so watch out for the summer heat! We camped at Far Horizons RV Resort(formerly Far Horizons Tucson Village) (55+park) in a Motorhome.

Fort De Soto Campground, Tierra Verde, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this place! Very nice for a county park. Very close to the beach which has an area specifically for dogs with a great dog park and free run of the doggie beach. Sites are dirt but fairly level with lots of vegetation. A little difficult getting into our first site but we came back a couple days later and had a much bigger pull-through site. Sites have electric and water but not sewer hook ups. The sewer hook ups are central dump stations. Lots to do nearby. Would have stayed longer if we had the time! We camped at Fort De Soto Campground in a Motorhome.
