This is a great place to stay if your traveling I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. Easy access to the interstate, shopping and dining. Sites are level with a thick layer of gravel. The bath house is very clean. We camped at Camping World - Good Sam Campground of Oxford in a Fifth Wheel.

Destin RV Beach Resort, Miramar Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $91.00
Overall Rating:

This is the most upscale RV park in the Destin area. The landscaping is lush and the sites are concrete and nice. It appears that security is THE top priority here given the coded gate entrance and a plethora of cameras watching your every move. The pool wasn't clean the whole week we were here, it had a ton of debris in it. The patio around the pool was disgustingly dirty, it looked like it had been weeks since it was cleaned. The pool and patio area was just plain NASTY. The walkway going to the pool from the campground was narrow and uneven. The hose area where you spray off after coming from the beach was standing in dirty water. The Wi-Fi connection was HORRIBLE. I expected much more for the price we paid. This park seems to be neglected, no maintenance employee or employees on site taking care of the grounds, restrooms or pool area during the day. We camped at Destin RV Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park, Mccalla, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The actual campground in this park is sad, some sites have a little gravel but most are just a dirt/gravel mixture. When it rains you are walking in mud. Very little maintenance goes on in the camping area. The camp sites and bath houses are past due for a remodel. Sewer sites are scarce and only exist in section 1. Most sites are small and hard to access due to trees. The restaurant in this park is no longer in operation. OK for an over nighter if you are passing through, but that's about it. We camped at Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Geronimo RV Resort, Destin, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This park has a great atmosphere. There is no pool but we like it that way because it means less kids. The guy that runs the park is VERY attentive to the grounds and restrooms, they are very clean. The park road isn't paved but the sites are concrete. They could use some lush plants between the sites but other than that we love it! The Wi-Fi is good here! We camped at Geronimo RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Clabough's Campground, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge RV park, good atmosphere here. The sites are close together and are all gravel with concrete patio. Each section of the park has its own bath house. The park has a full time custodial and maintenance staff that are present 7 days a week. This makes for clean bath houses and grounds. The Wi-Fi is pretty good here. The park has 2 pools and a laze river for the kids. GREAT location, about a mile from the parkway. The Clabough's operate a convenience store/deli which also houses the campground office with everything you'll need from breakfast to gas to ice! They also sell basic RV supplies. We camp here often. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
