French Quarter RV Resort, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $150.00
Overall Rating:

PROS. Very nice property, well-maintained, TV lounge, workout room, great private bathrooms, pool/spa, poolside bar, free ice. The maintenance staff is very nice. It is walking distance to Bourbon Street and we felt safe. Also walking distance to the Superdome (but it is a pretty long walk). CONS. Expensive (but worth it). The attitude of office staff is not as good as it should be. There are constant sirens on I-10 (obviously can't be controlled by the resort). OVERALL: This resort exceeded our expectations and if we are ever in the area, we will return. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Texhoma Park, Dumas, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

It is what it is--electricity provided by the city in a quiet park. Our electrical hookup wouldn't provide the needed power for our 50 amp motorhome, so we ran our generator. It was a good quiet place to stay and we would stay there again if passing thru Dumas and needing a place to park overnight. It is much better than the Walmart parking lot. We camped at Texhoma Park in a Motorhome.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park with a very nice staff. Our family of four really enjoyed our time here. I read about the trucks that drive past the park in past reviews, and although we did see a few of them, they weren't loud at all and didn't bother us at all. We really like the separate bathrooms behind the office area. The sites are very large. The park is located approximately halfway between Canon City and Colorado Springs. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay there again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Abilene KOA, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The reviews that I had read on this park weren't that great and therefore my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything went very well and it far exceeded expectations. We had shade, the people running the place were very nice, the bathrooms/showers were clean and looked new, and everything worked well. It is an older park, but I can't think of anything that was below expectations. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Abilene KOA in a Motorhome.

Mesa Verde RV Park, Wolfforth, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for a baseball playoff game at Frenship High School, and it worked well. We arrived late at night and left fairly early the next morning. But this park was very clean and the communication was very good. The only thing that I would have changed, is more shade trees. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.
