Mountain Lake Campground, Lancaster, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely campground. Only stayed one night. Campsite was level, though not huge. Beautiful looking cottage down the road from us. Extremely well maintained. Lots of playground area for the kids. There is a beach area, though we did not get the chance to use it. Pool was clean. Lots of washrooms, several showers, all extremely clean. Beautiful scenery: mountains in background, water view. I would return to this campground, though it was expensive: the most expensive of our entire trip! We camped at Mountain Lake Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Connell Park Campground, Woodstock, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Camped in a field. Sites fairly close together. Enough access for a large 5th wheel. Reasonably quiet. Washrooms and showers not very clean. Splash pad and playground for the kids to use next door. Only used this campground because we had to. It was a short stop over for our trip. I would not return to this park. Close to a Wal-Mart and drugstore. We camped at Connell Park Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Rideau Acres Campground, Kingston, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Got a site the last minute for 2 nights during the week. Was about 50 feet from a beach! Shallow water, warm, with a little island to walk to. Great for the kids! Nice tent sites right on the water. Friendly seasonal campers. Decent playground, and clean pool. Only one shower in each bathroom, but was often vacant (surprisingly). A lot of noise from passing trains. There was one around 10:30 PM, one sometime overnight, one at 7 AM that I wasn't too thrilled with. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return. We camped at Rideau Acres Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Camping Pointe-Aux-Oies, Montmagny, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice view of the river and reservoir. Nice walking path. Quiet park - lots of people going for leisurely walks. Nice playground for the kids. Washrooms were close and clean. Showers cost 25 cents for 4 minutes. Would have enjoyed a bit more shade or privacy, but sites were quite accessible. Pull-through sites available. Park locks down at night, lights out at 11 PM! Would stay here again if passing through. Pet-friendly. Paid Wi-Fi available. We camped at Camping Pointe-Aux-Oies in a Tent Trailer.

Rollins Pond Campground, Saranac Lake, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campsites. We did not get a lakefront site, although there were some that were empty. We would have loved one, the lake is gorgeous. Nevertheless, our site was nice and roomy. Part of our party was in a 35' fifth wheel, which fit fine, thought the site was not a pull-through. Got some funny looks at the entrance, so we were worried that the fifth wheel would not fit. Ice cream truck and wood truck drive around the camp, which was a nice touch. Would definitely return. Long, winding road entrance through a different campground. We camped at Rollins Pond Campground in a Tent Trailer.
