Kountry Resort Campground, Racine, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a "membership" seasonal park, not well suited for a one or two night stay. Very crowded with small sites and lots of cars and golf carts make it difficult to maneuver a 30' trailer. However, it's in a beautiful country setting, four fishing ponds, indoor pool and activities for kids. Neighbors partying until after midnight spoiled it for us. We camped at Kountry Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Benchmark RV Park, Meridian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A small (27 sites) very nice park for an overnight or several days. Make your reservations in advance and check the board for your site number as the office is not staffed all the time. Well maintained gravel roads with level concrete pads for the camper, good cable and Wi-Fi, didn't use the bath house or restrooms although they were clean and well stocked. The sign at the entrance is small and easy to miss and the traffic pattern is a little confusing at first. Several mom-pop style restaurants within a few miles and larger stores in nearby Meridian. We have stayed here twice and will do so again when visiting relatives in the area. We camped at Benchmark RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Very clean, well kept grounds; large sites, lots of green space. Several bath houses that were also clean and well stocked. Highly recommend this campground. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Chesapeake Campground, Chesapeake, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

What a dump! Campground is filled with old run down trailers surrounded by trash and broken down vehicles. Most sites are full time residents, some with fences, decks and patio covers. Only 5 or 6 sites for transients that are very narrow. Bath house is filthy and smells; laundry has old rusty washers and dryers. Would never stay here again. We camped at Chesapeake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Circle CG Farm Campground, Bellingham, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park seems old and tired, not "big rig" friendly. It has only a few 50amp sites and water pressure was only 20 PSI. Restrooms were not very clean. There are a lot of seasonal/full-time units and traffic at all hours. Live music on Saturday night was extremely loud (and bad). Only good thing was the pool. Would not stay here again if there is anything else available. We camped at Circle CG Farm Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA, Staunton, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground with friendly and helpful staff. Restrooms and showers were clean and well stocked. Our site was a very long pull-through, which could also be used as a "double" site for smaller units. The grounds were well kept and the view was great. The CG is relatively close to the Natural Bridge and Luray Caverns which we visited. There are lots of activities for kids and plenty of room for them to play. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
