I wanted to rate this a 9 only because they don't have cable, but this place was so nice, and the owners were so accommodating and welcoming, that I had the overlook the cable issue and give them a 10. To show they think of everything, they have a substantial DVD library for you to borrow from to compensate for no TV. We couldn't get over-the-air channels, but some had their satellite dishes out, so I assume that works. The sites are FHU, gravel, back-in sites with a picnic table that are easily leveled and are spacious. Our site was a creek-front site, and there was room behind the MH to sit and listen to the creek. The laundry room, as well as the entire campground, was very clean. A new WiFi system was installed while we were there, and it was excellent. This is a wonderful, quiet, and peaceful CG. We were traveling to Durango from Denver. If ever in the area again, we won't even look for anything else...nothing would compare.

Actually, the CG itself is very nice. Concrete, pull-thru, FHU site with a gravel patio, table, & covered wind guard. The sites are very spacious, both on the site and between sites. It's close to I-25, so easy access. Road noise outside the RV, but not inside. There's a walking path around the pond. No shade trees to speak of. Rate includes a $7.00 per day entrance fee PER VEHICLE, so we paid $14.00 per day for MH & toad. My beef is with the reservation system and the employee at the entrance gate.. We stopped 2 nights before we were to leave to see if we could extend our stay 2 nights as we needed to have an RV tech fix our a/c. We were told she couldn't do it that day, but to come back the next evening, and she'd book it for us. The site was available for those 2 nights, and we had first rights. I questioned that what if someone booked it online. Was told that the booking window for online was 72 hrs. out, so no worries, we'd be fine. We came back the next evening as instructed, and the site had been booked online. She talked in huge circles when we tried to hold her to the fire. Typical government establishment. We won't be back.

We stayed here 1 night while passing through. Easy access to I-80 with minimal noise when outside the RV. We had no road noise while inside. Site was gravel, level pull-thru that was long enough to keep toad hooked. Concrete patio with table and small wooden fence between sites. Lots of cable channels and good WiFi. Clean CG and clean laundry. Friendly staff with escort to site. Playground, splash park (sprinkler), and mini golf for the grandson. We would stay here again when traveling.

This is our 2nd stay. It's proximity to town (1 mile), shopping, and restaurants is good . It is an okay campground for visiting Jackson and is clean. It's expensive, but that's Jackson. The spaces are close, but there is room to sit at the picnic table or chairs. The length of the pull-thrus are tight, but doable. Must unhook toad and park sideways in front or rear of MH. The sites are gravel and ours was level. Not many cable channels. The WiFi worked well during the day, but was slow at night. We would stay here again due to the good location.

This is our 2nd stay here. This is an excellent, clean, spacious RV park. Our site was a pull-thru, FHU, gravel, and level. The WiFi worked well most of the time with a few slow downs. Cable didn't have a lot of channels, but worked well. There are plenty of laundry rooms, and they were clean. Kid friendly with a nice playground area. Within walking distance to town. We would stay here again.

I have mixed feelings about this park. The staff was super friendly on check in. They don't take credit cards, so was able to pay by check. The CG is clean as was the very nice laundry. Our pull-thru site was level and gravel. The sewer hook up was far to the back with the elec. being farther to the front, so unless you have a sewer hose extension, you must keep the MH farther back, so wouldn't be able to leave the toad attached if only staying one night. Our pull-thru site was in the 2nd section and was nice since we were on the end with no neighbors on one side. The sites are fairly close, but manageable. The interior sites in the first section are like a can of sardines and very unappealing. I would not have wanted to stay there. The back-in sites along the perimeter were not bad unless it was a site that backs up to the road. Those would have been very noisy. The WiFi was awful unless you sat at the laundry or near the office. It was really good there, but was awful at our site. Cable was good with plenty of channels. We stayed at another CG last year that was cheaper, but a little farther away from the action. Not sure if being closer to town is worth the extra money for this park. Not sure I'd stay here again, but if so, it would only be in the 2nd section.

We loved this place. Clean park with a woodsy ambiance. Level, gravel, pull-through, full hookup site. Plenty of space between sites. Has fire ring and picnic table. Nice, friendly staff. Cute little bunnies roaming around. Cable TV with plenty of channels, but Wi-Fi is sporadic...sometimes good...sometimes not. Would've rated this place a 10 if it had better Wi-Fi. In addition to a pool, has a water slide. Slight fee for the slide. Plenty of space to walk the dog. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 1 night while traveling through. Easy access from interstate. Concrete, full hookup, pull-through site on the upper level was level, and the CG was clean. Lower level sites are grass with water/electric. No water in pool. Walking distance to grocery store & restaurants - very small town. There is a Pilot truck center nearby. No cable TV, but Wi-Fi worked well. Couldn't get reception with our upgraded antenna, so satellite will be needed for TV. Plenty of space to walk the dog. We would stay here again.

Nice KOA. We stayed 1 night while passing thru. Easy access to the interstate. Some road noise outside, but none inside. WiFi worked well, but slowed down at night. Lots of cable channels. Lots of things for the grandson - pool, putt-putt, bouncy thing, playground-all free. Trike rentals for $5 per 30 min. Level, 50 amp, FHU, pull-thru site. There is an off-leash dog park. Rates are for 2 people. As we had 3 adults & 1 child, we paid $9 extra less our KOA discount. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Nice, clean park. Easy access off interstate. Be careful of the GPS directions. It will erroneously tell you to turn left (east) on to Old Hwy 40. The campground is west, therefore you must turn right. Our site was a level, pull-through, full hookup site. The Wi-Fi worked well. Nice, friendly person at check in. Good price. We would stay here again.

We stayed 1 night while traveling. Nice park for an overnight or to stay a few days. It is easily accessible from the interstate. Our FHU, pull-thru site was level. It had been raining for days and rained while we were there. They need to do something about the standing water...made it quite messy. Our site in the front was near the road, so some road noise outside, but didn't hear it in the MH. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. This is our 2nd time staying here while passing through. Would stay here again.

Stayed 1 night while traveling. Easy access off I-75 and back on, but far enough away from road, so no noise. Nice pet areas. Full hookup, pull-through site, so could leave toad hooked up. Cable and good Wi-Fi. Would consider staying here if in area and not just traveling through.

Date of Stay:

They have a few 50 amp sites, but are 1st come-1st served, so we had to take a 30 amp. We managed, but not ideal. No sewer hookup, which we prefer, but again, is manageable. Has a dump station. Did have cable, which was nice. No Wi-Fi. Lots of space between sites, and plenty of parking for toad and visitors. Very nice ambiance with the woods and the river. Tons of space to ride bikes and walk the dog. All-in-all, with the above-mentioned shortcomings, it was a very nice, clean state park. We stayed here for a family reunion. The rest of the family stayed in cabins, which were very nice. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Love this place. It is super clean. The sites are concrete and level with extra patio space for table. Cable has lots of channels. Lots to do - pool, rodeo, air boat rides, putt-putt golf, petting farm, tennis, & more. There's a general store with supplies and a restaurant. Site was considered a premium site. The standard sites are $10.00 cheaper. Rate includes a discount - pay for 5 & get 2 free. Wi-Fi was $15.00 for 1 week and worked well. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a fabulous state park. While there is no shade, it does have FHU, which is a huge plus in our book. The sites are level, gravel, and very spacious. There are plenty of places to ride bikes, hike, or walk the dog. They have a swimming area in the river with picnic areas and a playground. You can rent canoes, motor boats, paddle boards, or kayaks, plus there's a river tour. There is an interesting visitor center telling the history of the area as well as all the wildlife. There is slight noise from Hwy 1 when outside, but no noise inside. Again, it is slight. No WiFi, but we had good Verizon reception for our phones and hotspot and good satellite reception. Shopping/restaurants are a short drive away. We will definitely be back to this park.
