Twin Fountains RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is large, with a pool and nice size sites. However, the service we received was all but insulting. We booked 2 month ago, requesting full hookups, including cable. When we set up, cable didn't work and discovered our neighbors where allowed to run their generator 24/7. Husband asked for another site. The lady told him no. Husband said he chose this park because it advertised cable. She then told him if he didn't like it to hit the road. We were shocked at the disrespectful treatment. We will NEVER return. We camped at Twin Fountains RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground with friendly owners. The park is very clean and landscaped nicely. The sites are level with plenty of room between. My only complaint is how difficult it is to find and get to. Your GPS will lead you on a wild goose chase. I would recommend calling to get the actual exit to take. Our rig is 39' long. We would stay there again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Western Hills Campground, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This camp has very nice owners, who were very helpful. The park is typical for that part of the country. We stayed 2 nights in a 39' RV. The park is pea gravel with very level sites. There is no shade and the wind whips through pretty bad during the day. Their Wi-Fi was great. I would stay here again when passing through. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent RV Resort. While it is expensive, it is worth it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are gravel, but level and there is lots of room between sites. It is clean and well kept. You also have access to the beach that includes chairs and picnic tables. It is very family friendly. The Wi-Fi is spotty, but you have great reception on your phone. A great place. We were in a 39' rig. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a pool and playground for kids. We definitely would camp here again. We camped in a 39' RV for 3 nights. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Elwha Dam RV Park, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. We stayed in a site up on the hill. It was very long and level with gravel. There is plenty of room between sites in this area. Be advised, there are many tent campers in this area also. If that is a problem you will want a lower site, but those sites are closer together. This campground has the best Wi-Fi we have experienced anywhere. The owner gave us 15% discount as a Good Sam's member. This is more than the usual 10%. We would stay there again. We camped 7 days in a 39' rig. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Olympia Campground, Tumwater, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has a lot of potential, unfortunately there are too many people just living in the park. These renters have their things stacked up, which detracts from other sites. The spaces are so close together your slide out will actually touch your neighbor. While the sites are unpaved and level, they are not big rig friendly. There is a pool, but no TV reception. The Wi-Fi does not work as advertised. We stayed in a 39' RV and will not be back. We camped at Olympia Campground in a Motorhome.

American Sunset RV & Tent Resort, Westport, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice RV park very close to the boardwalk and docks. The sites are gravel, but are very level. There is sufficient space for big rigs. The owner is friendly and helpful. There is a pool and cable. At night it was very quiet. The only reason I didn't give a 10, is because the Wi-Fi didn't work most of the time as advertised. We camped in a 39' rig and we would go back. We camped at American Sunset RV & Tent Resort in a Motorhome.

A very nice RV park. The sites are paved and very level. There is plenty of room between spaces so you don't feel crowded, and they have plenty of shade. The staff was friendly upon check-in. Like most RV parks, the Wi-Fi is spotty at best. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good location if you want to be close to everything. I did feel like I was in the middle of a parking lot, though. There is plenty of room for big rigs and the sites are very level. There are no tables at the sights. Also like most parks, the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Upon check-in, staff was not very friendly. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Motorhome.

Heceta Beach RV Park, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean park. The sites are very level and there are bushes in between sites for privacy. The sites are not very wide, but work fine for big rigs. Do not be fooled by their website, there is quite a walk to the beach. We stayed 4 nights and would return should the occasion arise. The only reason I did not score a 10, is because the Wi-Fi is terrible. We camped at Heceta Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crescent City / Redwoods KOA, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We generally don't stay at a KOA, but must say, this is a fantastic campground. The staff is friendly and helpful. The back portion of the park is covered with Redwood trees and when you are back there it gives the feel of being in a rain forest. It is awesome. The front part where we stayed is very well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here. Our RV is 39' long. We camped at Crescent City / Redwoods KOA in a Motorhome.

Diamond Lake RV Park, Diamond Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful campground and is just a short path away from Diamond Lake. The staff is friendly. The sites are large enough for big rigs and very level. The only reason I did not give it a 10 is because the Wi-Fi is terrible and there is no cable, which means without a satellite service you have no TV. The entire camp was very clean. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

The best KOA we have ever camped in. We generally don't use KOA, but would definitely return here. It is darling and well kept. The owners are very nice and helpful. There is a stream with a walking path that is delightful. The spots are level with plenty of room for big rigs. This place is a winner. We camped at Montpelier Creek KOA in a Motorhome.
