Very well run with all the amenities and proprietary security staff on site. Camping prices do not include daily entertainment access wristbands which are required. With campsite, they work out to $15/day each. Without campsite, they're $17/day each. Though primarily focused on long-term seasonal site rentals, they do provide overnight camping. Campsites are clean and spacious. Though they are family friendly, be aware that it is a private campground and any additional guests will have to purchase day passes for $17 each. If you prefer a quiet place to camp, Lilac Resort is definitely not the place for you.

Staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. Generally speaking, the campground is well organized and orderly. Prices are quite reasonable but as has already been said, the amenities are a bit "summer camp-ish." Kids loved the pool, playground and store. Unfortunately, the pool is much too small and bathers quickly find themselves with "standing room only" on a hot day. Overnight campsites are close to the pool, store, bathrooms and showers but they are not shaded at all. If possible, try to book a seasonal site for multi-night stays.
