Seven Feathers RV Park, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting, nice sites with plenty of room, great shuttle service to the casino and back, nice clean bathrooms and showers. An indoor pool and nice walking trails. The negative: Wi-Fi was almost not usable. Office staff seemed to be new and only semi-trained. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a resort and there is nothing Premier about the place. It is right on Hwy 5 and the noise 24/7 is bad. I made my reservation late and was told only a premier site was available. Well, it was 60' long and close to their man made 'lake,' but it was also sitting on top of the highway. OK, then the Wi-Fi was about worthless. Premier but Wi-Fi that does not work? And, only a handful of TV channels. Premier with only 17 channels? Also, at least 1/2 the sites are occupied by long term residents. Not that I have found that a bad thing, but seems these folks think it's OK to allow loose dogs, loose cats, both causing a problem for me and my dog. I certainly won't be back and only gave it a 6 because the rest rooms were clean, the grounds fairly well kept, sites were concrete, but mine was not real level. And, there are not many choices in the area for RV parks, so this may very well be the best in the Eugene area. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Motorhome.

Woahink Lake RV Resort, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful setting with the sand dunes on one side and a huge lake on the other. The rate was for the week. Nice pull through sites that are the widest I've seen in my 2 month trip. And, hedges in between each site for privacy. Sites are gravel, fairly level, but I did need to use my blocks. The family that runs the park is very friendly and helpful. The folks using ATV's in the dunes are put at the far end of the park near the dunes. No noise at all from them. Very clean restrooms and nice laundry with reasonable rates. The park is 5 miles out of town so you do need a car or be content just being in a beautiful and peaceful park. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Driftwood RV Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

I loved it here. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Two blocks from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants. Sites are concrete and level. I took a look at the city run park on the beach and it was very dirty and run down looking. So glad I made the choice to go to Driftwood instead. I will certainly be back when in Brookings. We camped at Driftwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground), Eureka, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park has so much to do for families with small children that it could be the entire vacation spot. Wonderful pancake breakfast on the weekend for only $3. Huge serving of ice cream and all the toppings for only $2 each evening. Hay ride and camp fire every evening. Pool, playground, basketball, teeterball, video games and on and on. Kids will not want to leave. Nice fairly level sites. Most are pull throughs. Friendly staff. Clean rest rooms. The only thing I can fault is the spaces are close together. We camped at Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground) in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here over the weekend because Camping World could not finish work done on my RV. I would give them a 10 for the first 3 day stay. I was put close to the bathrooms, pool, restaurant. However, my second stay, even though they were hardly busy: I was put out in the back 40. A long walk to the dog area, the showers, bathrooms, and out away from the office: the WiFi sucked. I would stay here again, but would request being near the office. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Just needed something overnight. This was ok, but public roads run through it and I did not feel it was a very safe place. Otherwise, it was just a big parking lot with a few trees here and there and good enough for overnight. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rainbow Lake RV & Resort, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is in a beautiful location right next to a National Forest. I mean, you walk out the door of your RV, and in a few yards, you are in a National Forest. The spaces are too close together and most are not level. There are only 2 bathroom/showers, but they are nice and very clean. The staff is great. The WiFi was better than what I would expect and there was a huge selection of cable TV channels. Yes, it is a bit run down, but I would stay here again just for the access to the beautiful forest, the very friendly staff and lots of great folks who come every year. We camped at Rainbow Lake RV & Resort in a Motorhome.

Older park, but clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice large and clean bathrooms/showers. Great little restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. No cable and Wi-Fi was poor, but this is west Texas. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.
