Deer Run RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Great people working at and running the park. Super clean. The views over the undeveloped land around the park is really nice and should be included in pictures of the park. The monthly rate is one of the lowest we have experienced for such a nice spot. A definite recommendation. Critical comment - Laundry could be a bit bigger. Overall we will be back in the future. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Swan Creek, Tanner, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The RV park is the front end of a mobile home community. Not too scenic and quite noisy. For an overnight stay it is OK. Nice folks running the office and a pretty reasonable rate. If you use a GPS to locate your stops be careful of this one as the address does not get you where you need to go. We camped at Swan Creek in a Motorhome.

Outback RV Park, Eddyville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is a bit crowded with small sites. It appears clean and is part of an RV sales / repair business. Office personnel were a bit unfriendly. For an overnight stay it is an OK park. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pearl Lake, South Beloit, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, well maintained, strict rules fairly enforced which keeps undesirables away. Fantastic beach on one of the clearest lakes in IL. Convenient to RV services and shopping. Super restaurant and bar. If your not satisfied here, you must be part of the group that doesn't like rules. Have stayed here several times and will stay here again. Good honest, hard working people and very friendly neighbors. We camped at Pearl Lake in a Motorhome.

Pearl Lake, South Beloit, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Third time we stayed. One complete season, two weeks, and the last stay was for two months. This park is well run and managed. No riffraff, with very reasonable rules that are enforced. The sites are relatively level with class 5 base. Site size is very liberal with grass, fire pits, and picnic tables. It is organized, well maintained, and offers a nice variety of excellent beach swimming in one of the state's purest lakes. Excellent SCUBA diving opportunities. A great restaurant / bar. Located close to RV maintenance/repair & shopping. Will be staying here again in the future. We camped at Pearl Lake in a Motorhome.
