Date of Stay:

This was the first we had stayed here since March of 2012, and a lot of changes have been made. The main thing is the permanents are no longer here, in fact you may not stay longer than 1 month. This makes the campground much better without looking at all the trashy units. Many of the sites are not level, and only about 21 are full hook up, although they do have gray water hookups available throughout the park. It is possible to find a level site or a site to accommodate a big rig. The train tracks are nearby, but for the Atlanta area it is satisfactory for a visit. The Wi-Fi worked well. Much, much better than in the past.

Date of Stay:

This is a funny park in that it is actually 2 parks in one. 1/2 campground and 1/2 resort. The rate reflects resort and is more than the campground. There is some landscaping on most of the resort sites and none on most of the campground sites, but not all. It's an odd mix. With the resort you don't get anything special, in fact, the laundry, trash, club house, etc, are all on the campground side and quite a ways from the resort sites. No trash pickup, no newspapers, no services extra on the resort side at all. I'm not complaining about those things, but wonder on what criteria do they call it a resort and charge more for it?
