Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Great park with fantastic owners. Very accommodating, keep the park clean and neat. Great views from most sites. Most sites have patios. Easy to get around with our 45' motorhome. Uses an enormous array of solar panels for much of their power. Quiet and dark, beautiful sunsets! We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stagecoach Stop RV Resort, Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Has turned into more of a seasonal park than itinerant. It is kept clean, but many rigs are in poor shape, taped up windows, drooping ripped awnings, stuff all around and under the units even though against said rules. It's okay and convenient location, but each time we come it seems a bit more "permanent". There are only 8 premium sites, and it appears that even those are primarily permanent residents, the RV's don't even have license plates! We camped at Stagecoach Stop RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Allatoona Landing Campground, Cartersville, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This was the first we had stayed here since March of 2012, and a lot of changes have been made. The main thing is the permanents are no longer here, in fact you may not stay longer than 1 month. This makes the campground much better without looking at all the trashy units. Many of the sites are not level, and only about 21 are full hook up, although they do have gray water hookups available throughout the park. It is possible to find a level site or a site to accommodate a big rig. The train tracks are nearby, but for the Atlanta area it is satisfactory for a visit. The Wi-Fi worked well. Much, much better than in the past. We camped at Allatoona Landing Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort, Creede, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a funny park in that it is actually 2 parks in one. 1/2 campground and 1/2 resort. The rate reflects resort and is more than the campground. There is some landscaping on most of the resort sites and none on most of the campground sites, but not all. It's an odd mix. With the resort you don't get anything special, in fact, the laundry, trash, club house, etc, are all on the campground side and quite a ways from the resort sites. No trash pickup, no newspapers, no services extra on the resort side at all. I'm not complaining about those things, but wonder on what criteria do they call it a resort and charge more for it? We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.
