South Llano River RV Park & Resort, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in pull-through site #24. The sites are gravel, basically level, and long enough we would not have had to disconnect our tow. We spent five nights here with seven other club members and enjoyed the room between the sites. The staff were very nice and helpful. We used the party room and it was nice and had a kitchen. Cable TV had 36 stations and the free WIFI worked good. The park is close to town, close to the river, and overall a nice place to spend a few days. We would camp here again. We camped at South Llano River RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Our Verizon cell phone would not work in the park nor in Junction which in this day and age is a handicap. Our friends with AT&T had good service.

Fun Valley Campground, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a horse pasture that someone installed RV connections in. The sites are narrow and the roads leading to the sites are narrow; if the park is full, it would be difficult to get a big rig into most of the sites. When we first arrived shortly after a rain, the sites were muddy and difficult to get set up in. I had said that I would never be back, but after spending a week here and seeing the many activities available for the whole family, and meeting so many friendly people, and enjoying the cool weather, my mind was changed and we will be back. We were there in middle August and many RV's and kids had left. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. This is a large family oriented park that is being up-graded for today's RV. We didn't use the showers or restrooms, but they appeared clean. Overall the park was clean and if bringing kids, this is the place to come, lots of room and activities. We camped at Fun Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Corral RV Park, Dalhart, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here twice and could not ask for a better experience. The Park is truly "big rig" friendly, easy in and easy out, diesel right down the road in Dalhart. We stayed in site #38 the first time and about two weeks later we assigned site #7, both very nice. We only stayed one night each time but it would be a nice place to spend a few days. The host were very nice, the park was clean, and we plan to stay here again the next time we are near Dalhart. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to the horse race track, Ruidoso is close and a nice place to shop. The weather is cool and a rain in the afternoon is a possibility. The sites are level even though the park is on a slight incline.

Prospect RV Park, Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Small older park with some long timers. It was clean but small for a 40 foot motor home. Normal parking is front to back so we were assigned two sites in order to get our motor home to fit but was charged for only one site. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

Site #56 had a fantastic view of the mountains looking over the lake only a few feet away, the sunsets were beautiful. Over all the park was well maintained and easy to get around in with our 40 foot motor home. We camped at St. Vrain State Park in a Motorhome.

Owners were nice and accommodating, sites were clean, and it was quiet. It was easy to get into and out of the sites and there was ample room to put all of the slides out and not bother anyone else. We would stay here again. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Belleville Mobile Home Estates, Fenton, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

I wasn't sure about this park until I got there, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. I felt very safe there and didn't worry about my unit when I left my motor home for four days while attending an event in downtown St. Louis. When you see the "dead end" sign it makes you wonder what to expect and there is no place to turn around once you go past the sign. It is very convenient to Wal-Mart, downtown St. Louis, and eating places of all sorts. I would definitely stay here again, the sites were wide, paved, and easy to get into. The price reflected the weekly rate. We camped at Belleville Mobile Home Estates in a Motorhome.

Downtown Riverside RV Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Within walking distance to Clinton Presidential Museum which my wife wanted to visit. The park was not easy to find and we had to ask a local resident to lead us to the park. Not much shade but the nighttime reflection of downtown Little Rock on the river was beautiful. The host were very friendly and nice and we felt secure. It suited our needs for an overnight stay and we would stay there again since we now know where it is located. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.
