Wow, A Real Experience. Train rides or horseback rides to see the bison. Play area with Slides for children. A nice Dining Hall - Steak House with 'live western music' serving GREAT Bison Burgers, Breakfast cafe serving home-made biscuits and gravy. A Very well organized adventure with very cordial, accommodating, clean, employees. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Bear Canyon Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

A pretty crowded park, close to your neighbor, but Fantastic Views if you can get a clear look. It is on top of a hill, above the Interstate, so not much traffic noise. Has a swimming pool if you care for such. Had to use the 'dump station' as the sewer at our site was about 30 feet too far away. Not the most congenial people in the office. We camped at Bear Canyon Campground in a Motorhome.

2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground, Butte, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped in here for one night because the wind was too strong to drive comfortably, and ended up staying and looking over Butte, Montana and the surrounding area for 4 nights. This is a Very Clean, easy to get into and out of Park, with lots of grass for your Pups to roll in. This is an Extremely nice Park, and the Least expensive nightly Rate we have experienced this whole trip from Texas. A bit of highway noise, but not excessive in an insulated RV. Every spot here will have Great Views. I Highly Recommend RV travelers staying here. McCord. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you need anything on your rig or tow vehicle welded, there is a Great, Extremely Inexpensive welding shop in Butte, called Highland Repair. I used them yesterday to have the Bike Rack on the back of my 'Toad' raised, and was very, very surprised at what they did it for. But of course, I got an 'estimate' before turning them loose on it, first. Pleasant, courteous, nice people. I Highly Recommend Highland Repair for any welding needs. McCord

Oceanfront Camping @ Reach Knolls, Brooklin, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely clean, fairly remote park, TERRIFIC, friendly, fun owners.

Good roads, great beautiful and easy to get to and enjoy, waterfront.

Just can't say enough good about this place, an it's owners.

Plan a long stay because you will love your stay at oceanfront camping at reach knolls.

They were starting to clear brush where the waterfront could be seen by more spaces when we left. It should be even more amazingly beautiful now. We camped at Oceanfront Camping @ Reach Knolls in a Motorhome.

Oceanfront Camping @ Reach Knolls, Brooklin, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A brand new heavily treed, shady park, right on the ocean, where we gathered our own clams for a supper one night. Terrific helpful, friendly owners.

More brush will soon be cleared to give better views of the water front.

I can't think of any reason anyone would be sorry they stayed here.

Great park. I just wish it was closer to Texas. We camped at Oceanfront Camping @ Reach Knolls in a Motorhome.

Priest Lake Lodge, Nordman, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a brand new RV park. Very clean. Very well planned and situated in a level area, away from the highway, so very little road noise except for the loudest Dodge trucks. High speed Internet at the office. Nice restaurant, bar, and convenience store beside office. Very near beautiful Priest Lake, one of the top two beautiful lakes I've ever seen. We rented a float plane and pilot/guide from Sandpoint Seaplane Service to take us fishing at two different areas (Upper Priest Lake and Clark Fork River) at an extremely good rate, and we actually caught fish. I highly recommend both the park and seaplane service. We camped at Priest Lake Lodge in a Fifth Wheel.

Glacier Pines RV Park, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A highly treed park, which is good for shade but bad for long rigs to navigate through them. Very close to a busy highway, so there is quite a bit of un-mufflerd Dodge truck and Harley noise. Very lax in emptying the garbage container and 'dog waste' can. Very stinky in this area. Narrow spaces, park is similar to a 'treed' can of sardines. But, some of the best Wi-Fi internet and cell service we've had on our three month long trip. We stayed here three nights then forfeited our fourth night to move across the street to another park, which in my mind is a Much better park. We camped at Glacier Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
