Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Must be an older park because sites are almost as tight as sardines in a can. The amenities were clean and satisfactory. I don't believe this park is too awfully safe, because my wife was stopped going to the showers by two 'intoxicated' men in a car driving through the park, who tried to stop her to ask her stupid questions. So she returned to our RV. I walked out and they left. Parks in areas like this need to have security or at least gates to keep 'rif-raf' out. We won't be back. We paid $10 Extra for a 'Pull Through', but it was so 'Tight' we had to take our 'tow car off to be able to make the corners getting in, and getting out of our narrow site. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We will not be back to this park, but in this town I highly doubt that anything better can be found. Which is really pitiful! I will try to not ever need an RV site in this part of New Mexico, again. Sorry, but I truly believe that the only clean and safe town in all of New Mexico is Ruidoso, and that is because it has a large population of Texans and ex-Texans.

Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Park, Excellent Workcampers, but an obviously older park with narrow sites. When you have your 'Slides' out, you are too close to your neighbor. Some people would call this a Sardine Can, park, but it was very Clean, and not much highway noise. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This is the very first park this trip, after staying in over 20 parks, that I have given a 5-Star excellent rating to. This park is beautiful, has wide, long grassy spaces, heated pool and hot tub, nice laundry facilities and office, and just couldn't be better. No sewer at our site but a Dump site is close and convenient. We camped at Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice, clean park. Grassy sites are not level, but they are nice and wide. No highway noise at all which is really rare these days. Clean, nice pool. We camped at Rush-No-More RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Western Hills Campground, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park is 'Not a Beauty' as the whole park is gravel, with no grass except the narrow, short, strips where the pets go 'potty'. But, it is by far, the least expensive RV Park we've stayed at on this trip, and although not pretty, was extremely clean & nice. We were there only for 1 night, so we opted for an 'Only Electricity' site, which was extremely close to the office & restrooms/showers. There is a 'miniature golf course' on the property. There were Many 'workers' staying there, judging by the trailers and 'work related' trucks by them. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice RV supplies area and the very cleanest and nicest restrooms, showers, and laundry room of any RV park we have been in this year. And, I just bet the owners will be the nicest and most pleasant, helpful owners you have dealt with in years and years. We felt blessed by meeting them. The Park is at the end of a 'Dead End' road, so there is not busy traffic next to it, but it is possible to hear some highway traffic sometimes when you are outside. Very close to WalMart for those 'have to have' items. Terrific Park! Extremely well cared for and taken care of. We have already stayed at over 20 RV parks this summer, and will stay at probably 20 to 25 more before we call it quits and get back home. But, I have to say, if the rest of the RV Parks are even close to being as good as this one, we've hit a 'Home Run', because this is the best RV Park we've stayed at, so far this year. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Heise Hot Springs, Ririe, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A Beautifully Groomed, Shady, large 30' wide-site RV Park, with a whole Lot to do while you're here. Beautiful Grass, level, sites, good roads, Very Nice, caring people in the Office, and mostly friendly attendants at this park. You can play golf at their 'mini golf course', putt at their putting green, go down the Zip Line, or soak in the many Hot Springs they have of all different temperatures. The Only Negatives are the Loud, 4-wheelers screaming up and down the road next to the park (and most of these are Park Attendants taking and picking up riders of the Zip-Lines) and other vehicles, the Barking dogs belonging to uncaring, inconsiderate owners. We camped at Heise Hot Springs in a Motorhome.

Heyburn Riverside RV Park, Heyburn, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a super clean RV park, but the RV park (as I understand it) is in conjunction with the City of Hayburn Park next door, and obviously shares the Restrooms and Shower facilities with the City and anyone who happens into the park can use them, which in my mind is NOT SAFE. The 'Park Attendant', and his wife are extremely friendly. They clean and keep the RV park and its beautiful grass, as clean as a whistle. But, being as it is in conjunction with the city, you just cannot beat the pricing. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Arrowhead RV Resort, Cascade, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

An extremely nice RV park, right on the Payette River, with 30 & 50 Amp, Shady, Level sites, with all services, even good quality Internet. The only bad thing is the sites are really crowded together, but every time we have stayed here, they have very nice, congenial people who stay there that don't mind you walking into their area to get stuff out of your RV's bays. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Alpine Country Store & RV Park, Hayden, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

A Small, but a Very Clean, Nice, shady park, with nice, wide, gravel roads. Everything was great here, but No One enforced pet owners to 'Pick Up' after their Pets, which decent people do, anyway. Piles of 'dog poo' everywhere, and we picked up all that we had bags for. I never saw any park personnel in the park at all, just in the Office. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kim's Marina and RV Park, Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The Spot they put our Tiffin in was right in front of the office, in I believe #5, which was on grass, not level, No 50 Amp. and sporadic 30 Amp (in the heat of the day, it would not run One of our A/C's and our Microwave at the same time), and they were not interested in the least in trying to fix the problem. We camped at Kim's Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

I've been RV'ing for over 48 years, and there are more RV'er's on the road this year than I have Ever seen before. More families on the roads, having fun and enjoying themselves, and spending more cash, means all businesses are profiting from it. No One can tell me that Trump's Policies aren't working.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

One of the cleanest parks we have stayed in since leaving Texas. The spots are mostly shady, very good gravel roads, fair spacing between slots, and convenient to get it and out of. The Only exception, and this same problem is in most parkswe stay in these days, is the inconsiderate dog owners letting their dogs continually 'Yap' at everything they see. We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Motorhome.

No 'Dollar Stores' like 'Family Dollar' or 'Dollar General', in most small Montana towns where people can buy things rather inexpensively in this town, so the grocery and other stores are just Gouging the public. I Feel truly sorry for them.
