Phoenix Metro RV Park (55+ park), Phoenix, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very clean & organized. The showers / restrooms were immaculate and very well maintained. All utilities were good but the procedure to access the WiFi is confusing.

Our only challenge was there are only back in RV spaces. The RV spaces are large enough and the gravel is very level. The blacktop asphalt roadways are just wide enough but take it slow and easy driving inside the park.

My wife and I were very impressed with the organized nature of Phx. Metro RV park. Entrance and exit for the park are on a one way northbound Interstate 17 frontage road. Our charge was PA membership based. There is a $20 dollar, refundable deposit on the shower / restroom key. We camped at Phoenix Metro RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

La Paz County Park, Parker, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

La Paz is fairly well kept county RV park. Enjoyed our river front site very much. Bring your swim suit, floppy hat, and sunscreen. Colorado River is great boating playground, too. We camped at La Paz County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tombstone Territories RV Resort, Huachuca City, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Clean & well engineered for your happy camping. Fine maintenance is obvious as we walked the property several times. Showers are the best we've seen in comparison to several competitors. Do yourself a favor and learn the AZ Desert close up, with this park as your home base. We camped at Tombstone Territories RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ruins Road RV Park & Campground, Aztec, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Disappointed in the Ruins Road RV Park because they have no bathrooms or showers, period. The electric, water & WiFi did work okay, but we were just surprised the hostess never even mentioned their apparent lack of facilities. The place had some shade and was okay but we were only staying one night, no more. It was just a big letdown. Probably won't return again. We camped at Ruins Road RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tomahawk Trailer Court , Gordon, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is probably the only campground for RV's in Gordon, Nebraska. It was full of weeds, lumpy dirt sites, and old trees. Basic camp sites with no shower, restrooms, or laundry available. No Wi-Fi, no cable and only the local PBS TV stations (3) digital, receivable thru the airwaves. We will not camp there again for the high $25 cost. I complained to the owner about the high price for such spartan facilities, and she said that's the going rate for the area. We camped at Tomahawk Trailer Court in a Fifth Wheel.

Fox Hill RV Park & Campground, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park was nearly perfect; especially during a humid heat wave with shade a-plenty. Very clean facilities. The showers are a push style faucet, where you push in the knob, and the fairly hot water comes out for about 45 seconds. That took some getting used to. Overall this is a great place to call home for 3 nights. We camped at Fox Hill RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yankton / Missouri River KOA, Yankton, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent hosts that were the most helpful in a newer KOA Park. Grounds are great with some less mature trees. When those trees get big the shade will make it a 10. This park seemed to be a kids' favorite because of so many entertaining things to do. As a retired couple, we just have the highest regard for these rather pricey digs. We camped at Yankton / Missouri River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Canyon Gateway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Owners were very helpful & friendly. Sites were level and the cottonwood trees for shade were great. Campground was easy to find and there was a good layout of hook-ups. Our rate reflects Passport America discount, which is only 3 days maximum. Regular rate is $40; which seems a little high. We stayed for three days. We would gladly camp there again. We camped at Canyon Gateway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
