Chula Vista RV Resort, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $108.00
Overall Rating:

We really liked this park. The location is great, right on the bay. The park is super clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We paid extra for a "bay view" site but did not really have a bay view due to a wall and shrubs. Next time we will reserve one of the interior sites. They are very nice and a little less expensive. We camped at Chula Vista RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We wish we had stayed longer than five nights, there is so much to do here! We took the trolley (the stop is close to the park) up to San Diego and went to the USS Midway. It is awesome. We went to the zoo. Super nice zoo. Ask at the office for $5 off coupons. We drove up to Mission Bay and took the 17 mile bicycle ride around the bay.

Vail Lake Resort, Temecula, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight on our way to San Diego. The park was fine although we did not appreciate the loud music being played right up to quiet time. The park is a great vacation destination for families with mini-golf, hiking, bicycling... We camped at Vail Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is not the type of park you would stay in for fun in the park. It is a good place to stay for the location. We were in Las Vegas for an event at the Convention Center and the Circus Circus park was a great location for us. We also enjoyed catching the bus in front of the hotel to visit the Strip and Fremont Street. The best thing about the park was the pool. It was very hot and we floated away a couple of afternoons in the pool. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Buy the three day bus pass and just catch the bus to visit the Strip and Fremont Street. Very convenient and no need to find and pay for parking. Visit the Mob Musuem in downtown Vegas. Very nicely down and well worth the admission. Go see the Bronx Wanders show. It was very entertaining and high energy. Buy your show tickets at the Tickets Tonight booth for a big discount. There is a booth located in the Circus Circus hotel.

Beaver Canyon RV Park, Beaver, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This small park was good for an overnight stay on our way through Utah. Most of the guests stay for the whole summer season. There are only a few overnight spaces available. Our pull-through site allowed us to stay hooked up. We camped at Beaver Canyon RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night on our way through Idaho. This park is located near the freeway for easy access but we were not bothered by traffic noise. The sites are very crowded... the whole park is very crowded. But with a pull-through site so we didn't have to unhook and a great pancake breakfast the next morning, we were happy. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Valley Creek Motel and RV Park, Stanley, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great rv space. There are only four spaces but all have full hook-up. The sites are clean and comfortable. There are no public restrooms or laundry. The view could not be beat! The Saw Tooth Mountians were beautiful. Easy walk to Stanley with lots of resturants and shops. We would highly recommend Stanley! We camped at Valley Creek Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

On the River Golf & RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful rv park. There is a lot of landscaping, flowers, golf course and the river. Our space was nice and spacious with all of the necessary hook-up. We enjoyed the Koi ponds. There is also a catch and release Bass pond. We went down to the river to swim. It was pretty cold but felt good on the hot day. The park is quiet and the people friendly. I would definitely recommend it. We camped at On the River Golf & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Railroad Park RV Resort, Dunsmuir, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This park is tucked back in the forest about five minutes from Interstate 5. It is very peaceful and quiet. Down a short path is a small very cold stream. We had an easy access pull-through site. The park is clean and staff friendly. Just down the road is the hotel and restaurant. Perfect place for a quick overnight stay or a longer vacation to visit the beautiful sites in the area. We camped at Railroad Park RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park! It is river front and has a swimming dock. There is a 6-hole golf course that is fun and surprisingly challenging. Kids will enjoy the catch and release Bass Pond. Bandon By The Sea RV Park, Bandon, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this park! It is very pretty, lots of green grass and shrubbery. Clean restrooms and laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed Bandon very much. The only thing I would have changed is that I wish it was closer to town and the harbor. Great place for an overnight or a longer stay. We camped at Bandon By The Sea RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

OK for an overnight but we were very disappointed to arrive after nine hours of travel to find they had given away our pre-paid pull-through site. We were given a site that was too small for our rig so the back of our trailer hung over the edge of the hill. We were unable to set our jacks or level our trailer so it made for a rocky night. The restrooms needed a good cleaning to get rid of the cobwebs and dirt. It has a pretty little pool that looked refreshing. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
