Sunrise Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Sunrise campgound is very near downtown Bozeman. It was a good place to spend a few nights while attending a cycling event. The people were very friendly. The only negative about this park is that it is located very near a railroad track that serves many trains each day and night. We camped at Sunrise Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Location is the key with this park. We were right at the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park. The park was nice and clean. Great for rigs of all sizes. Easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops in West Yellowstone. They have excellent wifi and give discount coupons for the IMAX theater. We camped at Buffalo Crossing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our stay at San-Suz Ed. The park is nice in a woodsy way and the people are friendly. Our space had nice privacy. We were very close to West Glacier National Park and an easy drive to the recreation options in Whitefish. We would recommend this park to you. We camped at San-Suz-Ed RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Peaceful Pines is a nice park located about 20 minutes from Spokane. The park is nice and the people were friendly. They have a nice laundry and community room. The park is near a railroad track and although there were trains they didn't bother us. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pacific City RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Cloverdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

This is a membership park. It is a great location across the street from the beach and just two miles from Pacific City. The park is very large with nearly three hundred spaces. It is located in a wooded area. Our space was quite private although some were quite close together. There is no sewer in this park but it does have dump stations. They have a pool, hot tub, mini golf, pickle ball and a community center. We enjoyed our stay. On the downside there is no wifi or cell service in the area... it is like a technology black hole. There was wifi in the welcome center that we were able to use. We camped at Pacific City RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

Bend-Sunriver RV Campground - Thousand Trails, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

This is a membership park. It is located about twenty minutes south of Bend in a wooded rural area. The park is very large with a couple of hundred spaces. The spaces are set among the trees and our space was very private. There is no sewer only water and power but they do have dump stations. There are many amenities including two pools, a hot tub, mini golf, disc golf, pickle ball and floating the river. We enjoyed our week stay very much. The only negative is that the roads are lightly covered with gravel but it is still quite dusty. We camped at Bend-Sunriver RV Campground - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

On the River Golf & RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the most beautiful parks we have stayed in. There is lots of shade because of all of the trees. The park is on the river and many families enjoyed floating and swimming. The six hole golf course is fun and surprisingly challenging. The owners a very friendly. And you have to love the free ice! We highly recommend this park. We spent ten great days at Golden Pine. It is quiet, clean and the location can't be beat. We kayaked in Gull Lake and June Lake. Both are easy walking distance to the rv park. June Lake Village with its restaurants and shops is also just a walk away. The park is very friendly and enjoyable. We recommend Golden Pine for your stay in June Lake. Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground, Carmel, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

We spent four nights at Saddle Mountain and really enjoyed it. This is a small park and sites are close together but the views are beautiful. It is up on a hillside looking out over the Carmel Valley. We enjoyed sitting out by their sparkling pool. There is a playground, comfortable fire area and badminton. This park is not for the very large rigs but if you are in the area, we highly recommend it. We camped at Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Chula Vista RV Resort, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $108.00
Overall Rating:

We really liked this park. The location is great, right on the bay. The park is super clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We paid extra for a "bay view" site but did not really have a bay view due to a wall and shrubs. Next time we will reserve one of the interior sites. They are very nice and a little less expensive. We camped at Chula Vista RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We wish we had stayed longer than five nights, there is so much to do here! We took the trolley (the stop is close to the park) up to San Diego and went to the USS Midway. It is awesome. We went to the zoo. Super nice zoo. Ask at the office for $5 off coupons. We drove up to Mission Bay and took the 17 mile bicycle ride around the bay.

Vail Lake Resort, Temecula, California

Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight on our way to San Diego. The park was fine although we did not appreciate the loud music being played right up to quiet time. The park is a great vacation destination for families with mini-golf, hiking, bicycling... We camped at Vail Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is not the type of park you would stay in for fun in the park. It is a good place to stay for the location. We were in Las Vegas for an event at the Convention Center and the Circus Circus park was a great location for us. We also enjoyed catching the bus in front of the hotel to visit the Strip and Fremont Street. The best thing about the park was the pool. It was very hot and we floated away a couple of afternoons in the pool. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Buy the three day bus pass and just catch the bus to visit the Strip and Fremont Street. Very convenient and no need to find and pay for parking. Visit the Mob Musuem in downtown Vegas. Very nicely down and well worth the admission. Go see the Bronx Wanders show. It was very entertaining and high energy. Buy your show tickets at the Tickets Tonight booth for a big discount. There is a booth located in the Circus Circus hotel.

Beaver Canyon RV Park, Beaver, Utah

This small park was good for an overnight stay on our way through Utah. Most of the guests stay for the whole summer season. There are only a few overnight spaces available. Our pull-through site allowed us to stay hooked up. We camped at Beaver Canyon RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night on our way through Idaho. This park is located near the freeway for easy access but we were not bothered by traffic noise. The sites are very crowded... the whole park is very crowded. But with a pull-through site so we didn't have to unhook and a great pancake breakfast the next morning, we were happy. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
