Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $98.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. A bit expensive. Hubby and I were included in price. Had to pay extra for our daughter, the dog, and for cable TV. Wasn't about to pay for cable, so I refused it. Imagine my surprise the next day when there was a note in my camper door reminding me to go to the office and pay for the cable. Apparently when my hubby was hooking up the sewer and water, he just went ahead and hooked up the cable. Imagine! I missed episode 7 of Breaking Bad, because I didn't think we had cable. We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Artillery Ridge Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was on main road, site #71. Not recommended if you have children or pets. Cars do not obey speed limit. Very heavy traffic at all hours. Bathrooms near pavilion were very clean, but bathrooms near office were awful. However, location is very close to battlefield and visitor center, which is a plus. We camped at Artillery Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Holiday Trav-L-Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Not the place to camp if in a tent. Heavy rains thee day before our arrival, and the drainage was not the best. Many campsites, including ours were flooded. Lots of stagnant water. Bathrooms smelled horrible. Must have a problem with sewage lines. On the plus side, the pools were sparkling and staff was very friendly. Even have their own private parking lot at Virginia Beach. Very convenient. We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Travel Trailer.

Adventure Bound Camping Resorts – Eagles Peak, Robesonia, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Fabulous campground! Park is very neat and clean. Stay up the hill in the #200 sites, for it is quiet and a distance away from the congestion of all the seasonals near the pool and store. Whole different world up the hill. Lots of activities for the kids. Wi-Fi is a bit spotty. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resorts – Eagles Peak in a Travel Trailer.
