Buckley Park Campground, Stromsburg, Nebraska

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park with playgrounds for the kids and a new city pool. The maximum stay is 7 days but it is free to camp there. There are alot of nice trees as well as a shelter to use for gatherings. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back. We camped at Buckley Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Bader Memorial Park, Chapman, Nebraska

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice family park. There are a lot of things to do from fishing, swimming with a sandy beach to lay out on, hiking and playgrounds for the kids. There are also horse trails to ride on too. This park has lots of water to choose from as well. There are 7 ponds to fish in and the ponds are so clear you can see the bottom! The park is located between the wood river and Platte river. We as a family floated the Platte river in the past and the kids loved it! There is also a tornado shelter here and sirens to notify the park visitors and campers, which is a plus in my book since its in Nebraska and you never know what the weather will do. The park also sells ice, pop and snacks and worms for fishing. Nice little park for the area! We camped at Bader Memorial Park in a Travel Trailer.
