Wyalusing State Park, Bagley, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very scenic campground by the bluffs bordering the Mississippi/Wisconsin rivers. Some campsites are tricky to get into, but the Ranger helps out. Campsites overlooking the bluffs are smaller without electricity, but many others can see the bluffs. There is a lot to do in the area, also in bordering Iowa. We will definitely return. We camped at Wyalusing State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here for the Sturgis rally, so the nightly rate is not accurate for the 2 weeks. The camp host did a great job and was very accommodating and helpful with any need. A very friendly atmosphere. We camped at No Name City RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Bluff Valley Campground, Zumbro Falls, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice family friendly campground. There is tubing down the Zumbro river for $8 per person each day. The only draw back, there are no full hookups and only one shower room (3 stalls each men/women) for this large campground. I guess sewers are a problem being so close to the river. The sites are adequate with shade, picnic table, and fire ring. We camped at Bluff Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Country Cabins and RV Park (formerly Kountry Kamping & Kabins), Mobridge, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great place on the Lewis and Clark Ntl Historic Trail. It also has several cabins to rent and a club house for family gatherings. Sitting Bull monument nearby. Very close to Lake Oahe for walleye fishing. Very family oriented and clean. Only drawback is a train track is right next to the campground, but is infrequent. We camped at Country Cabins and RV Park (formerly Kountry Kamping & Kabins) in a Motorhome.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here a week and it's a great "hub" to visit the surrounding historical sites; Cody, Beartooth scenic hwy, and Bighorn Nat'l monument. It's a bit too far for Yellowstone. Very clean and has big upgraded sites for the extra cost. We camped at Billings KOA in a Travel Trailer.
