This is a very scenic campground by the bluffs bordering the Mississippi/Wisconsin rivers. Some campsites are tricky to get into, but the Ranger helps out. Campsites overlooking the bluffs are smaller without electricity, but many others can see the bluffs. There is a lot to do in the area, also in bordering Iowa. We will definitely return.

Very friendly staff and clean campground. Nice place to stay overnight and close to Interstate 90

Date of Stay:

We camped here for the Sturgis rally, so the nightly rate is not accurate for the 2 weeks. The camp host did a great job and was very accommodating and helpful with any need. A very friendly atmosphere.

Date of Stay:

Large concrete pad adjacent to the Empress casino. Has a shuttle van. You have to be 21 or older to stay and/or visit. Easily accessible to Joliet and if you like to gamble, not much more to do there.

Date of Stay:

Very clean and quiet SD State park, with several cabins to rent also. Right on the Big Sioux river for fishing; has several paved bicycle paths. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stop overnight while traveling; easily accessable from the Interstate. Camp hosts were very friendly

This is a nice family friendly campground. There is tubing down the Zumbro river for $8 per person each day. The only draw back, there are no full hookups and only one shower room (3 stalls each men/women) for this large campground. I guess sewers are a problem being so close to the river. The sites are adequate with shade, picnic table, and fire ring.

Great place on the Lewis and Clark Ntl Historic Trail. It also has several cabins to rent and a club house for family gatherings. Sitting Bull monument nearby. Very close to Lake Oahe for walleye fishing. Very family oriented and clean. Only drawback is a train track is right next to the campground, but is infrequent.

We stayed here a week and it's a great "hub" to visit the surrounding historical sites; Cody, Beartooth scenic hwy, and Bighorn Nat'l monument. It's a bit too far for Yellowstone. Very clean and has big upgraded sites for the extra cost.

Date of Stay:

Good overnight stop on your way out West. Easy in and out; a typical KOA, clean with ample sites.

Great County Park, has an entrance fee. Very close to several lakes, beach, golf course and Nature center. We plan on returning.

Very popular city campground, right on Lake Superior. Centrally located to visit many sites along Lake Superior. Reservations are not online and fill up fast during the weekends. Ample sites and clean.
