Columbia Falls RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We have been coming to this park for 5 years. This will probably be our last. It has become very over-priced for the services. Park becoming more claustrophobic as they cram more sites in. There is no pool/hot tub and gravel roads. Laundry is expensive. Owners will change rules on a whim and there are 3 pages of rules! Wish owners would go to Mtn Valley Resort in UT to see how to successfully manage a campground! We were lucky to have site 1 so no rig on one side of us. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arrival, owners were far from cordial. Very little effort by owners to maintain the property. Sites are large but deeply rutted and unkept. Only green grass was in the front of park by owners cabin so very dusty. They charge more for 50 amp service. Wifi was nonexistent and there were 6 over-air tv channels. Only trash container was way in the front of the park. We love to dry camp in NFS lands, but when one pays $50/night, one expects some amenities. This could be a great park if managed properly. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Motorhome.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before. Nice park and we stayed in creekside spot. Our traveling friends were having electrical issues. Park owner offered to assist in tracking down problem. Upon inspection they found transfer switch was broken. The park owner suggested a business in town that could either repair or order new switch. The switch was repaired in less than 1/2 hour. Owner not only friendly but very helpful. We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park), Central Point, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here during the county fair and had no issues. In fact, it was probably quieter in the mornings as few people were pulling out. Staff was very pleasant. Sites were 30 ft wide, when the trees grow up to give shade it will be great! We camped at Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park) in a Motorhome.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

As our site was a tandem site, we had to wait for the fellow in front of us to wake up from his nap to take his tow car off! The sites are extremely narrow and dirt. The driveway into the park was awful, deep pot holes! Couple is trying to fix up but have a long way to go. Back in sites looked narrow so that slides would not open. We will not stay here again. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

These pull thrus are long enough but you must unhook your tow and drive it around to the front of the site. Sewer connections was in the rear of the site. Staff gave great recommendations for eating. Access in and out is a breeze. All in all, good campground but not sure I would pay regular fare. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Great park with a beautiful view. Watch carefully for the turn-off to the marina...going south it comes quickly. There is plenty of room to park the rv when checking in. The process is very smooth. The folks there are really professionals. Sites are on a concrete pad, have a picnic table and a sunny/open exposure. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The ATV rentals from Dune Riders ATV Rental on the highway in front of marina was wonderful: very friendly and accommodating. Great fun! We are going back to rent next year! Be careful not to book during Dune Fest as it is very crowded then!

Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We made our reservations 2 months ahead and were not told that the main park was full with a convention. We were put out in the mobile home park with only 30 amp service and no cable TV. Park advertises 50 amp and cable. We had to use gas for our water heater and only 1 air conditioner. No TV during Olympics!! Owner just said nothing he could do about it! We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

The Interpretive Center is wonderful, but skip this campground. They were not honest when we made the reservation. Our view from the front is mobile homes and the view from the picnic table is worse!

Devil's Lake State Park, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The sites in b loop are sinking. Although we had a long site for our 36 ft RV, we could not back all the way in or we would not have been level. We have 4 sets of blocks that we tried to use to level. Therefore, our tow car did not fit and the park ranger wanted to charge us $7 a day to park! We were there a week. Parked our car in our friends spot. Otherwise it is a nice state park with a lake and in town. We camped at Devil's Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with easy access. Pool very crowded with youth baseball teams so didn't get a chance to use it, although it looked nice. We are 37 ft and the spot was a little short. We would stay again. We camped at Bakersfield River Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Salmon Arm Camping Resort, Salmon Arm, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Very dated park. Advertises 50 amp but only 30. No cable, no over air tv. Some sites may get satellite but there are many trees. Pool and hot tub were old, dirty and smelly. Park needs work. Way over priced. Would not stay here again. We camped at Salmon Arm Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Traveland RV Park Bear Lake, Garden City, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The park needs a lot of work and is over-priced for the condition. The management lets other units come in after 11 PM and the service pods are together so the noise is terrible. One trash receptacle was in the front by the road. The restroom (2 total) in the rear was dirty. We camped at Traveland RV Park Bear Lake in a Motorhome.

Alcova Reservoir, Alcova, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the 10 hook-up part of the county park. They state full service, but only 30 amp and not a trash can in site. Backs up to a trailer park. The area was quiet but no view of the lake. We would not stay here again for that price. The $7 sites are on the lake but very, very steep entrances. We camped at Alcova Reservoir in a Motorhome.

Absaroka Bay RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills quiet park. The price is right. The sites are narrow but one stays here to sightsee, not sit in the park. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had deer right in front of us in the field. We would stay again if ever in the area. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.
