Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA, Bernalillo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We paid extra for a shaded spot with grass. We drove up to a spot with a dead, sad tree and a small patch of fake grass. The area surrounding the grounds didn't seem all that safe. We saw at least 4 cops patrolling the area in one trip to the store. This was our first and last time to stay at a KOA, especially this one. We camped at Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins, Bayfield, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground with great access to trails all around and lake. Very quiet: almost too quiet with an early bedtime. Mostly retirees. Fun events, such as Bingo, music and food. The restaurants around area have spectacular food: seriously good food. Not close to any town really so if you are not hiking/fishing it can get boring after a week. We loved it though and would come again. We camped at Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely beautiful campground. Riverfront is the only way to go, though and it is very expensive ($70+). If you are not riverfront you don't really have access to the water at all and the spots are tight. Spots riverfront are a lot bigger. Very convenient location to Durango and Silverton. The Wi-Fi was terrible on northside, but was better elsewhere. Great pool area, store, and lodge with a movie playing each night. Has an ice cream stand but it is only open on the weekends. We would certainly stay here again but only riverfront. We camped at Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
