This is a beautiful setting with a private fishing pond and a river. I didn't look for a pool but you could go into the beautiful slow running river to have fun. We didn't, but did see some kids. The sites were level and easy to get to. They do have an escort take you to the site and make sure you are in safely. Beside they want to know if you are satisfied with your site. The people are extremely friendly and wanting to make sure you are happy. It is a safe and fun place to go and stay. We didn't need to use their facilities; bathrooms, laundry, etc. This is a great place to stay if you are going to visit the local town and tourist towns. In fact, there was a wedding taken place at the park and everyone was invited to the fun! We didn't go because it just so happened to be our wedding anniversary, and we had plans for the day and evening. We did ask on our way out if we could have our picture taken with the background of the wedding set-up. The park and wedding family were very pleased and happy to do our request. The park is beautiful with nature at its best.

Wonderful people running their establishment with great personalities; honest, genuine people! The Shade Sites Available, it is coming with the growth of the trees. The RV park is true to its words; it is beautiful, clean sites, the roads are easy to drive on, the sites are easy to find and you drive yourself to your designated site. No guide or escort necessary or required. The RV spots are not on top of each other or too close to each other that you will see into each other RVs. Distance and privacy is nice! The views and sunsets are lovely. If we ever go back to Santa Fe, NM, we will stay at this hilltop Santa Fe Skies RV Park which is up and out of the noise and busy streets of Santa Fe. The drive is easy and fast to downtown. The staff suggested several popular restaurants and we enjoyed our experience at a suggested restaurant, and we enjoyed our stay at their quiet park. You will, too!

During our U.S. Tour, we didn't have reservations for all of the places we were going to visit. Yep, that is taking a chance but that is one way to have and learn to experience a fun journey. We were heading into Nashville, Tennessee, a day earlier than expected and we didn't have any reservations. We were taking a chance in the big city. We call from our cell phone while driving about 50 miles away from this establishment that was listed in our RV Directory Book. It was the closest and most centralized place for all of the fun activities during CMA Week. We were accepted for the three night stay (which was just before the CMA Awards) and we were elated because we had no idea at all of the CMA festivities. This park is extremely kind, goes out of their way to make sure you are happy and safe. They have entertainment on site with local hopefuls, a clean pool which smells good, wonderful people who keep the park CLEAN from the bathrooms to outside of your rig. Everyone has a great attitude and they even set up tours and activities for you. We went on a day long tour including lunch with a pick-up and drop off right outside of the office doors. Two Rivers Campground is very close to the Grand Ole Opry to which we had tickets for a show. The excitement, fun and kindness of this town was definitely transformed over to this wonderful RV establishment! Friendly, smiling, fun and the right place to stay when visiting the Grand Ole Opry and area. Great RV Spots and easy to drive to the spots. I highly recommend this place. When we are able to go back to TN, we will be making reservations here!

We had our reservations made and confirmed January 1st, 2012 for our arrival in May 2012 for 11 days. The cost reflects Senior rates. Our friends also made their reservations at the same time, we were talking on the phone and online at the same time picking out our spots together. That is a great benefit to all people! Then COE people contacted us and had to change our site due to have the park renovated and our original site was not going to be RV sites any longer including our friend's site. So we had to coordinate again with the reservation people on the telephone and finally it worked out, we thought! When we arrived to Cumming a day early (we stayed at another place for one night), we decided to go check out our spot at the campground and it was just before closing around 9:30PM. The camp host, Winn, was so kind to help us and allow us to see our sites before closing time. When we looked at our new site, it was obviously way too small for our travel trailer and our truck. We immediately went back to the camp host and said there was no way we or our friend could ever fit in those two new spots! We are too big. All in all, everything worked out okay one night before our arrival because of Winn's personal attention to make things right. We even were able to take care of our friends and get them a spot for their much larger 5th wheel. While we were visiting the park for 11 days, that is when it was rescheduled (the second or third time) to redo the park with huge machinery to break up concrete and asphalt. Other machinery to make new roads to the new campsites. More machinery to lay the stinky and sticky asphalt down. The people working did a great job especially the asphalt guys, they took extra care when doing the asphalt around our rig and didn't, Did Not get any oil or asphalt onto our rig whatsoever! They had no control of the smell for a few days and that was unpleasant. I don't believe this park will be appropriately opened for travel trailers or 5th wheels since I believe they made it more accommodating for tent style camping. There was one launch open that I saw for boating on the lake. Now that they have redone the park at this specific loop, the Sawnee Campground, it will be beautiful for someone, but not us. We have a Travel Trailer and our friends have a 5th wheel. I would suggest to find another COE park on the other side of Lake Sydney Lanier to have a pleasant time. The most positive time was the Camp hosts. They made our visit a lot better! Camp hosts are very important and necessary.

This is our second time staying here within 5 years. We come to the park for the convenience to go to Washington, D.C. There is a 16 mile drive to the subway, one way. Truly not an inconvenience at all. In fact, it is an easy and fast drive, straight and right to the subway in a secured parking lot. It just so happened that we were a day ahead of our schedule. We called them and asked if they could take us a day early. They welcomed us without any problems. We extended our stay for six days which was during the Memorial Holiday Week. A very busy time of the year. The place only changed their name that we noticed. The restrooms and laundry facility was extremely clean and in working order all the time. The only real difference from our stay in compared to our last stay, was the site. We were more on a downhill slope to which we had to raise our rig up extremely high with more blocks under the trailer jack. So the back was approximately 5 inches off the ground and the front was (no kidding) at least 3 feet from the ground. We weren't the only ones with this challenge. We saw motorhomes with their wheels off the ground. We were secured and so were they. A few of us did talk about it and we said next time we will not stay in those spots. Many of the other spots were a lot more level. Lesson learned. There are many restaurants (both private and national chain restaurants) close by and grocery shopping was easy to do. The only reason I rated this place an 8 is because of our spot. Last time it would have scored 10!

Have you been to Hawaii? Well, when you drive into the park to go to your site, you will think you were in Hawaii. The lush vegetation is beautiful! You enter your private site and you don't see anyone or hear anyone next to you. That is because of all of the lovely trees and bushes. The site is level and extremely easy to drive into and out. Okay, we were not able to put up our awning all the way, because of the surrounding foliage at our spot. We didn't want to hurt any of it. It was fine with us and didn't cause any problem. The river was just steps away from us and there is a private walking and fishing dock for our use. There are restaurants walking distance, really, just steps away from our Travel Trailer: perhaps five minutes at the most. They have a wonderful pool area, outside game area and all of this is away from your site! Just walking around their property will have you relaxing immediately. The people are pleasant and everything is clean! This is a paradise for the RVer on the mainland! We did have to use our vehicle to get to the sightseeing places and that is not a negative thing to say. This campground is just far enough away and extremely quiet from the tourist areas.

This is our second time here within 5 years. WE were not disappointed at all. The place is as clean as it was the first time we found it. The people are kind, respectful and helpful. The laundry facilities are clean and working well with plenty of machines. The public transportation (bus) is directly outside the park so there is no reason to take a vehicle to downtown or drive yourself. The park is wonderful, safe, clean and affordable. We will be going back again and again.
