Red Mountain Motel, RV Park & Cabins, Silverton, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Owners are very nice. Showed us to our site. VERY clean (new) restrooms. Wi-Fi was great. Jeep rentals on site. (Which we did use. Got a late start, so they let us keep it longer at the end of the day.) Play area for the kids. Near the train (which only runs during the day), kids loved that. Beautiful views in every direction. We camped at Red Mountain Motel, RV Park & Cabins in a Truck Camper.

Ouray RV Park & Cabins, Ouray, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time to Ouray. Found this park on the internet and we lucked out. We Loved it! The owners and hosts were extremely friendly! They personally showed us to our site. We constantly saw them around the park checking on people and asking how everything was. Bathrooms are older, but they were always clean. Hot, fresh coffee in the morning (with cream and sugar available). There is a river, we asked to be away from it because of our kids, and they said it was no problem. We stayed 6 nights and will be back next year. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Truck Camper.

Mammoth Mountain RV Park, Mammoth Lakes, California

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We've camped here many times in the last few years with our family. We have kids, so the play area and the pool/spa are great. The park is always clean and everyone has been friendly. I'd recommend to anyone and we will be back again next year. We camped at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreational Area, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Very basic, you are just parked anywhere you want on the sand. Beware of the tides, so you don't get stuck in the sand. Not many bathrooms around (but we didn't use them- so I don't know what the condition was). There was a truck that comes around selling ice and firewood, which was nice. We camped at Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreational Area in a Truck Camper.
