Grass and gravel sites where permanent trailer homes had previously been.

Pretty spot beside the White river . We stayed one night. Back-in sites . Nearby trains overnight, didn't keep us awake. 50 amp power and water.

Drop toilets. Call in to City Hall to pay (cash/cheque) before going to park.

Crushed rock and paved sites. Area has fire ants.

It was fine for an overnight stay. $15 included tax. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sharp RV Park, Saint Joseph, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay on 2 occasions. $14.00 for 1 night Passport America. $20/night for 7 nights. Most sites are permanents or semi permanent. We were not bothered by workers arriving or leaving early.
No road noise if you are not in the front row. Not many overnight sites. Owner, Rick Clark, and manager are very helpful. There is a shower/toilet room. Good laundry and small Gym room.
Most size motorhomes can be accommodated. We stayed in a 26' MH. We camped at Sharp RV Park in a Motorhome.

Southern Trails Resort, Unadilla, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

After reading previous awful reviews we were pleasantly surprised.

The staff were pleasant. ( The nasty manager has long gone) The grass was cut. The pool was spotless. Noise from traffic was what you would expect, however leaving the cooling fan on drowned the noise out. Sites were either grass or gravel a few concrete. We chose a site at rear of park. Free WiFi in office. Bathroom old but clean and adequate.

View at rear of park, lovely - rural. We didn't receive a receipt - which doesn't bode well for the owner when 'cash' is paid. Cash or cheque is only form of payment. Due to time restraints we only stayed 1 night. We camped at Southern Trails Resort in a Motorhome.

Great experience. Easy to find. Didn't pre-book. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Gave us the Summer rate, 24hr free Wi Fi, bit slow but adequate. Very quiet. Almost empty in June as Snow Birds have gone home. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. Sites are long and level. We camped at Central Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Morning Wood Lane RV Park, Lyons, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is the only RV park in the town. It looked fine on website. Owner sounded fine when we called, and the cost was very reasonable - we thought. We spent 30 mins looking for a site with water. The 2 shower/toilets rooms would be OK if they had a good clean and an exhaust fan. There was no toilet paper and no paper towels. Approx 10 sites were long term folk in RV's plus several portable homes - all very poorly kept. The only washing machine was out of order. We are not fussy but this was awful. It could be a nice stop over if the owners took better care of the place. It was reasonably quiet at night. We would not stay there again. We camped at Morning Wood Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed three nights including holiday weekend. Very quiet when road maintenance depot next door not operating. Park will be closed from 1st June - Sept 2013. Staff was very helpful and gave good tips on where to visit. We joined happy hour one night with staff and the only other (2) guests. Wi-Fi enough for us to Skype Australia. No showers, toilets or laundry. Would stay again on weekend. We camped at Betty's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very pretty spot. Excellent rates. Good size sites but dusty roads even though speed limit is 5mph. Great staff. Run by community. Picnic area used by lots of day users. Toilets/showers are a mess at end of day. During the week it was very quiet, but weekends very busy as it is popular with locals. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.

Water Sports RV Park & Campground, Dodge City, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Some 'lake views' with grass, more with dusty gravel. For $22 this park is great value. Staff pleasant, bathrooms clean. Unfortunately lake is almost empty due to drought. Slight odor from feed lots in the area, but was not a problem for us. Very quiet and close to town. After reading previous reviews we almost didn't check it out. Would stay again. Also has tent sites. Currently works in progress adding extra sites. We camped at Water Sports RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
