Redstone Arsenal Campground (Military FamCamp), Redstone Arsenal Army Post, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 6 weeks. Campground unkept. Grass mowing is almost nil....contracted out and only half assed mowed every 3 weeks. No edging. No weeding. No spraying for ants. Driveways all need additional gravel to level, to fill in chuckholes, etc. RV host totally useless. Water pressure extremely low. Only plus are the cement pads. We camped at Redstone Arsenal Campground (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Winton Woods Campground, Cincinnati, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Campground rules not enforced. Diverted valve went off couple times and woke up to water pouring on ground. Reported it to office to no avail.....vandalizism, bad valve, etc??? They didn't know how it was to work nor did they offer to send Maintenance over to check out / change out. Fixed problem myself with pipe clamp only to have it happen again. So I added a couple zip ties and that resolved the problem for me anyway....not sure about next tenant. Appears WW needs monies so bad they even let folks stay beyond their own written rules....no more than 14 days in any 30 day period. What's good for one, should be good for all. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Calloway RV and Campground, Hammond, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

If at all possible, find another park to overnight at. I was given a spot that had 40A service which I was afraid to plug into. In all my years of traveling, I've never had or seen 40A circuit. But I was lucky and scathed by unharmed. The park consisted mainly of permanent and long term residents who took up all the lakeside spots. The maneuvering between the RV's and their vehicles was real tight due to narrow roads and small lots. And when it rains, you'll be walking in a couple inches of water due to drainage issues. Only nice thing were the begging ducks who just absolutely loved my Cheerios. We camped at Calloway RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Marvelous RV park and conveniently located across the street from an RV dealer/repair. Friendly staff. Believe it or not, we were surprised with park's paved roads and concrete pads to park on. The park was clean, quiet, each site had a picnic table and green grass. Couldn't ask for a better RV park. Wouldn't hesitate to return for a longer stay. We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wellington KOA, Wellington, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Conveniently located off the KS tollway and near the local Walmart. Park has gravel roads and the gravel RV spots were fairly level. Campground host was friendly. This was a nice little campground for an overnight stay. We camped at Wellington KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Double Nickel Campground, Waco, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Disappointing to say the least. Park entrance and building look like an abandoned site, campground roads are not level and need repairing, park itself is unkempt, and RV spaces (gravel) are not level. Park office does not open until noon daily; hence, if you should arrive early, you wait. There is no lighting in park at night. Could be a nice park if some manual labor were put into it. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV park that is basically at Yellowstone's west entrance. Only a couple blocks from town; hence, you can walk to town to shop, have lunch, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. The sites actually have green grass which is kept up with nightly sprinklers. Only problem I had is the sprinklers left spots on my vehicle every night when they went off. Other than that, I highly recommend this RV park. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this park due to it's proximity to/from I-24. Although next to freeway, the noise did not bother us as we used our A/C and kept windows shut. Park had nice trees and grass. There were picnic tables and grills on every site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only drawback was the parks gravel roads which was a dust maker in itself and the metal recyclers across street which created a mountain of dust during the weekday. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

AOK Campground and RV Park, Saint Joseph, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Dusty, very dusty. A good 1/2 mile dirt/gravel road to and from the park. Dirt/gravel roads inside the park, and the RV sites (again, dirt/gravel) are not level. We camped at AOK Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
