Pretty rolling hills, paved roads, huge pool and lots of kids activities daily. Petting zoo, which explains the odor of farm animals. Lots of tenters with loud KIDS! Dog leash rule is not enforced very well, we had 3 separate issues with our dogs being confronted and they were on leashes. Tour to San Francisco and the wine country were fabulous and we would do them again. They knew everything about the area and made the whole trip personable. We were not able to use our air conditioner because the voltage in our loop was poor, less than 100 volts at times. After reporting problem, they could only move us because the spots from 1 through 15 have had this problem and it wont be resolved until next year. We were told all other sites did not have this issue. Wi-Fi worked most of the time. Verizon works well here. Great location close to shopping and restaurants. We will stay again, just not next to the tenters. Call ahead, campground is full all the time.

Very clean and friendly campground. Level sites, good cell phone, good Wi-Fi, good satellite signals. The maintenance here was very good and everything was well kept. Close to shopping, right between Eureka and Arcada. We will stay here again.

Date of Stay:

This is the cleanest, prettiest, most well run campground we have ever stayed. Not close to shopping or restaurants, close to the National Park. Wi-Fi is $10 a day charge, Verizon barely works here. Do yourself a favor and spend some time here. Gravel site, no dust at all, large fenced dog area, not many tenters, the place looks brand new. Small grocery store in Shingletown has everything including hardware and prices are a little higher than average.
