Wacky West Travel Park, Valentine, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We were hesitant to come to this park due to poor reviews. We are happy we stayed. This park has very nice friendly, on site owners. We stayed here 4 nights. The owner cleans showers and restrooms daily, laundry room is very clean with 2 washer/dryers. There is a very nice bike walking path called The Cowboy Trail, can walk or ride. Across the street is a grocery store and a small version of a Wal-Mart. Town has several restaurants. There is a movie theater and a vet next to the park. The park is safe and for the rate nice place to stop for the night or stay a day and explore the town. Casino located 9 miles away at the SD state line. We camped at Wacky West Travel Park in a Motorhome.

4 Aces RV Park, Kinsley, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, fairly new park. Nice concrete pull through sites. Easy access off the hwy. Park owner is very nice and helpful. Lots of open space for kids and dogs to run and play. Nice creek can access from the park. The town of Kinsley itself doesn't have much to offer, all though there is a small grocery store, few gas stations and liquor store. We camped at 4 Aces RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunny Meadows Campground, Elm Creek, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Park is basically a gravel parking lot, located off HWY 183. Price and stay is not bad if just stopping through for 1 night. Camp Host was very nice. We camped at Sunny Meadows Campground in a Motorhome.

Rio Bonito Cabin Resort & RV Park, Liberty Hill, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park overall is nice, offers large gravel sites and access to the river, which is dried up most of the time. Park has lots of full time people living there. Would definitely recommend a short stay or use of the cabins but don't recommend staying long term. The owners live on site and there seem to be a lot of issues going on at this place. We camped at Rio Bonito Cabin Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

San Gabriel RV Park, Georgetown, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 1 month at this park. Very quiet park. River access for fishing, nice paved road throughout the park. Center of the park offers several sitting areas and barbeques. The laundry room and 4 full bathhouses are exceptionally clean and in excellent working order. There is also a 1/4 mile walking track in the center of park. Park also has a large pet run and has a tub and a dryer for bathing your pets. Nice park for long term stays. We camped at San Gabriel RV Park in a Motorhome.
