For the time we stayed there, our rating is a 10. I can find nothing wrong: park was clean, park was quiet when it was supposed to be (despite being full), there was more than enough space between sites, and they were friendly. We called one hour before they closed for the night for a last minute space, and (lucky for us) they had just had a cancellation. They asked if we had AAA, which I didn't think about, giving us a 10% discount. Even though there are train tracks close by, I barely even noticed. We would definitely stay there again!

I must score a 10 because I can find nothing wrong with this campground. the campground itself was immaculate. The comfort stations in the north camp (the new area) are huge with at least 3 that are sink/bathroom/shower combined (meaning one person can go in and PRIVATELY use all three. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sites are roomy with just enough greenery between sites to be private. We were here in 2002 and pleased to see it hasn't changed!

I've camped in two campgrounds in South Dakota, and both are fabulous. This one would be a 10, but the WiFi was so weak at our campsite (Ranch camp) that it wasn't usable. If we took our devices by the office/store/pool area, it worked, but not convenient. Other than that one detail, I can say nothing negative about this campground. Bathrooms and showers are always clean, and the comfort station at our campsite had laundry facilities, too. Sites are well spaced. Be careful if you have slide-outs, as there are many trees and we saw a few people struggle with positioning (call and inquire!).
