We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, over Labor day weekend, with a reservation of course. The campground was packed, but not overly noisy. The attendant was expecting us and had our paperwork ready to go. She gave us a camp map and told us how to get to our campsite. She was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to back into and set up in, with electric and water hookup within easy reach. We had a few trees for shade, but would have preferred more to be honest. The sites that had water and electric hookups had very little tree shade, but primitive sites were in the forest treeline. I would trade that for the waterfront view any day. We were literally within 20 foot of the lake, with a excellent view of it. The electric flow was good, with water pressure being a little low. They had a private campground beach, located in a cove area. It wasn't too deep and nice to cool off in. There were very few people at beach, but I think it was because everyone was boating in the lake. It also had a very nice marina set up there, with various boat docks for people to tie off boats for the night if they wanted to while camping there. The roads getting to the campground were tight, but manageable. Make sure to have what you need as far as supplies go, because it is a good bit from any stores. There is a "grocery store" within 10 minutes from campground, but it is more a shack than anything else. Also, for people it matters to: very spotty wi-fi and cell service. There are no bathhouses at this campground, only porta-potties set up. That being said they were well maintained at least. There were 2 trails located in the campground, but I did not use them. Overall, I will be coming back to this campground if given the chance and would recommend it to others looking to get away for a quiet getaway.

We came in on a Sunday afternoon. No attendant at station, but a note to check in with host. We stopped by host campsite, but no luck. Our campsite was easy to find and to back in to. Plenty of space for the camper and vehicle to park at in our campsite. Host showed up short while later with our check-in paperwork and was expecting us. She was a very friendly and helpful host to us. Sites were decently apart from one another and plenty of space in each area. The restrooms were older, but clean and well maintained. Sites were level with concrete or gravel and the water/electrical were within easy reach. There is 1 dump station. Campground was quiet and plenty of woods around us. Plenty of trails around the campground to explore and wildlife was active here. Overall, I will stay here again. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here from Thursday until Sunday. It is out in country and QUIET!!! The 1st night was great, but the 2nd night it was raining a bit and campground electricity was a bit iffy. The whole campground would shut down for a few and then come back on. The reason we knew was because campground would go completely black. Alot of sites are slight slopes. Ours was a deep hill to pull down into, but evened out when we set up. That and the electricity are the reasons we gave it a 9 instead of 10. We had a surge protector for our camper so no worries. The restrooms were standard state park as in older , but in clean working condition. The park was nice and the lake was a real nice smaller lake. People were fishing the banks and lots of picnic areas to choose from. We saw alot of wildlife in the park and it is real peaceful to say the least. There are lots of waterfalls and hiking to choose from within 45 min drive or so from park. Overall we will camp there again. We stayed in 21' travel trailer.

We got to campground on a saturday evening. It was busy, but still had plenty of empty spaces left. When we looked at camp map online we thought we were getting a spot towards the rear of the campground and when we got there it was a spot up front. It was decent, but right up on another campsite. We had to share electrical box with next campsite and it looked like some of the other sites were like that also. Great campground if you are in a group or owned a boat for sure. We hiked some trails in the area, but drove some to get to them Our site we used 50 ft of water line to hook up and basic for electric. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful to us. We stayed in a 21' travel trailer and will stay here again if we get a chance.

We got to the campground on Thursday and stayed 3 nights. It is a pretty nice campground with plenty of space between campsites. It has sites with electricity/water, electricity only, and primitive. We stayed at electric only site, but they had a place for you to fill water tank before you pulled into site area. We had a lakeside view looking down at lake, but it had trees blocking some of the view. That is why I gave campground a 9 instead of a 10. Clean off some of the smaller trees and improve view a little, but that is just a personal opinion. The dump sites were easy to use and clean also. They had some trails there to use and lake beach was a easy drive to get to. Overall I would go back to this campground again and plan to do so.

We stayed here over 4th of July weekend and was a little disappointed on our campsite. It was shaded, but sites in our area were right on top of each other. Sites towards front of campground were spaced apart more as were sites located by tent camping area. However you have to be cautious on sites because a lot were uneven and smaller. We had a 21' and was tight getting into our site. It was packed of course, but was surprised to see how quiet it was. That was nice to have. As for things to do it was good. There was 2 trails to hike, but only 2.25 total. The swimming pool was nice and the smaller but nice lake had boats for rental also. There was plenty of family activities to do i.e. volleyball, miniature golf, basketball, tennis, hiking, paddle boat rental, swimming, and hiking to name some. We liked it overall and would stay again, just in a different site.

We arrived on a Friday and was surprised it wasn't overcrowded already. We hiked the trails and checked out the park. The pool was closed for the season, but mini golf was open on the weekend. The museum was still closed for renovation. For the most part campsites were level and good condition. We stayed at campsite 25 and the only bad thing about it was trees were to close to open awning. Be prepared to bring extra extension cord and water line as some of sites need them. The restrooms were clean and decent shape. Overall we liked our stay and will be back here again.

We stayed for 2 nights. The bathrooms were old, but not overly bad. The campground is small and outdated but a good location for hiking and rock climbing in the area. If you have more than a 25'-27' you are in for a tight fit backing in. It is one lane in and out and one side of the road dips in. We had a 21' and it was tight turning in, but could be done with patience. Sewer dump work, but across small bridge at a weird angle coming out. We did a U-turn and went across bridge to the dump easily. Even with all the small negatives it was peaceful and we would stay again.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a walk in and loved it. The sites were spacious and were very quiet, especially since one was a Friday night. We got a site with a view of the lake and was very pleased. The only thing I didn't like was you had to fill your fresh water tank to use instead of direct hookup. No big deal, but I didn't do my homework before coming. They had water spigots all over for you to fill up at so a easy fix. We will stay here again.

I got here on a Saturday afternoon and campground was busy, but campground personnel was very helpful. I told them my needs and they let me go in and choose a campsite before registering. The campground was well maintained and the bathhouses were nice especially for a weekend. The dump sites were easy to access. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be staying again.

The rate we got was with discount added. We would have gave the campground a 10, but the sites were a little close for our liking. Other than that we loved the park. The caves were OK, but the trails were outstanding. People were friendly and it was a really family friendly campground. We will be staying here again when we get a chance.

When we first got to the campground we weren't impressed. It was smaller than we thought it would be and kind of outdated, but as the day went on we liked it more.Check in was by self or campground host. It was very quiet (especially for a holiday weekend) and people were friendly. We stayed for 2 days and spent them sightseeing or hiking various trails. If we are in the area we would stay again to hike, but we wouldn't make this a main vacation point. Checking out was easy and the dump station was very easy to use.Overall,we had a good camping experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a walk-in. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because when we arrived there was no personnel to check us in. There was just a picture map telling us which sites was available to use. The campground was nice, quiet, and family friendly. We will be staying here again.

We stay at this campground a lot and enjoy it every time. The bathrooms are decent and the employees are friendly. They have a camp store on site and it is reasonable in price. We really like this campground, but it could use some more updates.
