The Barnyard RV Park, Lexington, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in/out with long , wide pull in sites. Sadly when we got there they had sold our reserved spot to a group rally and we were given overflow parking with no sewer but a nice level spot w/water & electric service and only $20 per night. Also note that wi-fi is only inside the office and not at your site. Nice quite place that was very clean and everything worked well. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at The Barnyard RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is an excellent southern home cooking restaurant 300 yds from the entrance to the park, turn left as you exit the park. It is all buffet and the ribs are to die for plus 4 home made deserts. Go only if you are hungry and at $10.25 including drink per person it is a bargain aside from being very good. You cannot miss it as there is an old tractor sitting on the front porch surrounded by rocking chairs.

Country Boy RV Park, Madison, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Campground has older section mostly for long term and a new section for short term. The new section has long pull through sites with no back in's. The park is clean and service was excellent except for the wifi which was almost useless it was so slow. Park is 2 miles off I20 with easy in and out for our 45ft. coach. roads in park are paved with gravel sites which are very level. Do not try to get in older section with a large coach, make sure to stay up top in new section. Would stop again.Outstanding farmers market and cafe within 300 yds. of campground entrance. We camped at Country Boy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Farmview farmers market & cafe near entrance, historic downtown Madison, Ga is 4 miles with many antebellum homes that predate the Civil War, Madison is the only town Sherman did not burn in his march through Georgia, great place for the history buffs.

RiverBend RV Park and Campground, Luling, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Easy on/off Interstate but far enough away that noise is not a problem. A little tight turning in for big rigs but manageable, gravel throughout. WiFi was weak and went on and off while we were there. A lot of workers in the park left very early each morning. Ppark was nice and neat but not any other services to speak of. A good overnight spot for travelers. Lady at front desk who was the owner went out of her way to be nice. We camped at RiverBend RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Cave Creek Regional Park, Cave Creek, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

City park with nice spots , only 44 sites, no sewer but a dump station. Very quite with great walking / hiking trails . Easy in / out with 45 ft. plus towed. Park is fairly new and showers / rest rooms are excellent but small ,some paved sites, ours was gravel but very level. Walmart, grocery and shopping 5 miles from park, would stay again. We camped at Cave Creek Regional Park in a Motorhome.

A hikers dream but not much else to do but all kinds of things to do are close by. There is a horse riding facility on site for trail rides through the surrounding mountains.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

beautiful resort park, paved pads with concrete picnic table, next door to Lazy Days RV service center. Appears that this is winter spot for many RVer's and it is a good choice with many activities and close to shopping, etc. A little pricey for a one night stop but very nice and we will stop on our way back home. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally, Anthony, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Big wide open park with no trees, wide spots with plenty of space to move around. Easy in and out with 45 ft. motorhome and towed , only drawback is it is dusty as there is no paving, just gravel but very level. Would definitely stay again. Cajun Palms RV Resort, Henderson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This a great park ,it is fairly new and all concrete, a great value but be aware on weekends this is party central. Park has many covered spots and groups were using them as party headquarters. This is a family park and kids are every where with skateboards, bikes and hoverboards in abundance. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Houston West RV Park, Brookshire, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Close to I-10 so noise is constant but not terrible with fans running. Sites are close but slides were OK and pull through had room to park towed behind, gravel spots but level. Fairly easy in and out with a 45' unit. Park was clean and when we plugged in we had very low voltage but park got someone on it within minutes and after a few loose connections in the box were repaired we were good. We camped at Houston West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, Boerne, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

WiFi is terrible even with a strong signal, kept going off after a couple minutes, road noise is constant, even though park was not half full they continued to place units right next to us which made for a cramped space. People were nice and facilities were old but clean, probably not stay again. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Greystone RV Park, Pinnacle, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Great park with only 10 sites that are all new. Very level concrete pads, wifi was fast and strong signal. All sites face the Pilot Mountain park and have an excellent view of the mountain. Big rigs with toads need to approach the entrance from the east as it requires a very tight turn at the entrance, after that there is plenty of room. We will stay there again and would highly recommend Greystone. We camped there in a 45ft. motorhome. We camped at Greystone RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Park looks good, but there are some problems. Very sharp turn to get past check-in building and into big rig sites. Sites were very close so that neighbors awning hit our bus. Wi-Fi was totally useless for the 3 days we were there. Cash or check preferred at check-in, but will let you use a credit card but charge you a $2 fee. Park is right next to the local fairgrounds so if an event is there it is very noisy, we got to listen to a tractor pull until after 1 am the first night. Otherwise it is a nice park, but we would not come back. We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

River Vista Mountain Village, Dillard, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

New park that is also in the RV lot sales business. Nice facilities with many large sites for rent but has many owners that summer here. Wi-Fi is weak and slow and no cell service in this area. Many dogs in park that can get annoying late at night. $45 rate is high for this area. Reservations told us one policy but it was changed on check out. We camped here 4 nights but would not come back. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with level, gravel sites. Park is located close to interstate but is over a hill so there is no noise. Wi-Fi was very weak and slow if you are not close to the office. We spent a week here while playing in a golf tournament. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grandma's RV Camping, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park right off the interstate. The only problem is it is a little hard to find the correct entrance, as the park sign is at a used car lot. You can get in that way but it is much easier if you go another 100 yards and enter. They do not open early, so do all your business in the afternoon. There is an excellent sandwich shop and restaurant across the street in a convenience mart, the mud pie was to die for. We camped at Grandma's RV Camping in a Motorhome.

I made a reservation for 45 ft full hookup with 50 amps, and received confirmation by email 2 weeks prior to the visit. On arrival I was told the site was not available and I would have to take a different site, upon inspection I told the owner that my 45 foot unit would not fit in this site as it was for a travel trailer. I was told either take this site or go to Walmart as there are no other facilities in town. When I protested I was told I could not have everything I wanted so take it or leave it, I left. I have never been treated so rudely and would advise to avoid this park at all costs. We camped in a Motorhome.
