Mt Kenyon Campground, Lake Luzerne, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is OK. I think some of the sites are a little close to each other if it was busy, but we had very few campers staying with us so that was not a problem. The owners were very nice and let us pick our sites but I will say that some of the placements of the water and electric hookups were far away from the camper and you may need extra hose or cord. The campground was kept clean and the restrooms while very old were also clean, my only real problem was the fact that they CHARGE you to throw away trash, $2.00 each time you use the dumpster, now I don't like to have trash at the site at night so this charge after paying a nightly rate did not make me very happy, I would have given this campground a higher rating if not for that. We camped at Mt Kenyon Campground in a Motorhome.

Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground, showers, restrooms and grounds were kept very clean. The staff was very helpful and nice. When I did not think the site they put me on first, was big enough for 5 people for 5 days, they showed us other sites till we had one we were happy with. I would stay again if I am back down in the Hershey area again. We camped at Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Adirondack Camping Village, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground, the location was great as it is only a short drive from downtown Lake George, but is still very quiet. The grounds, bathrooms and showers are very clean and the staff was very nice. The walk from the sites to the pool area is a bit of a hill, so keep that in mind when going to the pool. This is a great campground. My only wish is they stayed open later into the fall so I could stay during my fall visit to Lake George. We camped at Adirondack Camping Village in a Tent Trailer.
