Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV Resort and we stay here just about every time we come through Las Vegas. Excellent staff, great amenities and great RV spaces. Once again, my pet peeve rears it's ugly head: NO free WiFi. This would be a "10" if they had it. Easy access from the freeway and easy to navigate in the park. The swimming pools are excellent and they have many activities for the guests. They have a few odd policies such as no RV washing at your site unless you have a 1000 psi pressure washer and they have a list of vendors they have banned from the park. Make sure you check with them before you call someone to come into the park and work on your RV. We will be back as we enjoy this park very much. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pismo Sands RV Park, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The WiFi here is the best we have encountered so far. Big pull through spaces and plenty of things to do. Laundry was excellent, fairly priced and very efficient. Well paved interior roads and sites with grass side yards. Some shade sites. Close to restaurants, ATV rentals, and the beach. Very clean and well maintained RV resort. We would stay here again. We camped at Pismo Sands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Betabel RV Park, San Juan Bautista, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night and the after hours check in was easy. The pull through was fairly level and the hook ups were well laid out. Plenty of room between sites. There appears to be a lot of full timers. The area we stayed in was devoid of landscaping, but the other end of the park was well landscaped. The Wi-Fi totally sucked. Most common sites were blocked and the message stated the wi-Fi was for email and banking. Clean RV park with friendly staff. The TV shows were limited. We camped at Betabel RV Park in a Motorhome.

Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven), Yreka, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Older RV park with dirt lots and trees. Most are pull throughs. Wi-Fi is better than the last few parks and the check in lady was very nice and helpful. We were just passing though but we would stay here again. Plenty of cable TV stations. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great park and a large one. Laundry room was excellent and inexpensive as far as RV laundry facilities go. A private beach on the lake and a great play area for the kids and grand kids make this an excellent destination for families. We will be back! The Wi-Fi totally sucks so bring your own. If they fix this issue, they would deserve a 10 star rating. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Indian Campground & RV Park, Buffalo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

They had the best laundry facility at any RV park we've stayed at. Tall trees, grass next to the RV, and easy to drive around the park with the RV. Right off the freeway, but I didn't hear any freeway noise. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Well placed hookups and friendly staff round out an excellent RV'ing experience. We would stay here again. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loveland RV Resort, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights and the park staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The one quirk that happened was that I wanted 50 amp service and received 30 amp service. The power posts are set up with 1 50 amp and 1 30 amp plug. Unfortunately, 2 RVs share one power post. One RV gets 50 amp and one RV gets 30 amp. No cable TV and forget using a satellite as the tress are many. There were plenty of activities and it's a great place for kids. Easy access and close to restaurants and shopping are a plus. We would stay here again. We camped at Loveland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Junction West RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

I'm not a fan of gravel sites, but the sites here are wide and roomy. They are level and hook ups are conveniently placed. They are in the industrial area but it is quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here two nights and would stay here again. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunland RV Resorts / Circle RV Resort, El Cajon, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here Memorial Weekend. It was full and very busy. Unfortunately, still a little cold for our kids with small kids who also came in a tent. Came for some fishing for the little kids, but no luck off shore. Lots of trees and shade, would have welcomed a little sun. Pit toilets/water nearby, a short walk to the showers/flush toilets. Some trails to walk--next time! Didn't see any rangers coming through camp, but didn't see any issues with all the people here either. Visited the park's Pokanoka’s Café for fish dinner. Was OK. Nice boat rental and store and dock area. Might bring our canoe next time, and bikes. We camped at Sunland RV Resorts / Circle RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

WiFi for $6.00 a day? Seriously, this is a huge downside to this otherwise 10 star rated park. An in-house Wi-Fi System would be a super addition. I absolutely hate that RV parks are subcontracting their Wi-Fi services out to companies that charge outrageous fees for slow internet services. The security in this place is top notch and we liked the easy access to the RV site. It was very easy to get to the RV park off the freeway. The place is clean and the hookups were well placed. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Escondido RV Resort, Escondido, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $54.00

We stayed here for 10 days. This is one of the best parks we've stayed in. The only downside is the Wi-Fi. If they had an in-house Wi-Fi system, this would be a 10 rated park. The spaces are excellent as are the staff! We camped at Escondido RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel, gravel everywhere! Cheap RV park but nothing special. The gravel sites are messy. The RV repair guys they had there were totally incompetent. We were thankful that Johnny Walker RV was across the street. The RV repair guys at Sam's Town charged us $154.00 and didn't fix anything. Johnny Walker RV took the RV and fixed it in a 1/2 hour, charging us $54.00. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

East Shore RV Park, San Dimas, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge RV park. The Wi-Fi advertised is only if you want to sit in the office and use the office Wi-Fi. The park is also under the flight pattern of a nearby airport so you get rather loud airplane engine noise at the RV site. The one complaint that ticked me off was the store sold me a 4 day old paper and when I brought it back, the manager told me it was the customer's responsibility to look at the date of the paper. I asked if they regularly sell 4 day old papers and she said yes. She gave me a refund, but she had a horrible, condescending attitude. We will never shop in that store again, and probably look for another RV park to stay in. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

Escondido RV Resort, Escondido, California

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

I would have given this place a 10 if the wireless wasn't such a disappointment. They could be a "10" Resort if they fixed this. One of the most consistently excellent RV Parks that we've stayed in. Excellent, new laundry and tiled restrooms. Beautifully landscaped and manicured park. Staff are wonderful and helpful. The site I was in was not level and I had to use the Lynx Levelers to help level the RV. Close to everything and very clean. We have stayed here numerous times and love this place. We camped at Escondido RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Morro Dunes RV Park, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Big RV Park near the water. The RV sites are dirt and gravel. Be prepared to track gravel and dirt inside. Wide sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Easy check in and a full time RV repair business on site. Easy to maneuver and hook up the RV. We've stayed here several times and it is a good location to see the sights. We would stay here again. It is just an average park, nothing special. We camped at Morro Dunes RV Park in a Motorhome.
