Quinault River Inn and RV, Amanda Park, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an adorable little place on the river and we'll be back for sure. To be fair, it's only 30 amp power and water but as clean and tidy as can be. We travel in a 45 foot coach and had no trouble at all. Plenty room for all slides and awnings. It's well kept gravel and grass with shade trees and space for hanging out by your rv or by the river. The staff is extremely helpful and cooperative. We camped at Quinault River Inn and RV in a Motorhome.

Oak Forest RV Park, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for three nights. It was an OK experience. The sites are long but very narrow. A little tight for a bug rig. The facilities are very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and used the laundry. All nice. It would have been nice if the concrete sites were wider. Our step went out to the dirt. That made a mess. Some sites have grass. Ours as not so much. We'd stay here again but, don't get too excited about it. Big rigs are OK. You might need to cut a corner short. Their streets are way too narrow. But we are about 70 ft.

FYI. The place is primarily full time rentals. But they have done a nice job of separating us from them. If you walk back into the full time area it it absolutely disgusting. But you do t need to do that. Up front is very nice.

Don't hesitate visiting Austin from this park. It's an alright place to stay. And Uber is there now! We camped at Oak Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coleman Park, Brownfield, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Understand that this is NOT an RV resort.

It is a city operated RV parking area with hookups. It is beside a park that is very large and very nice. Do not come here expecting services, but it's a great place to land when passing through. I'm so impressed that the city would offer this to all of us. THANK YOU, CITY!

We made a donation of $20 for the use of power and the space.

The sites are just gravel and dirt. The power is 30 amp and would not run our coach. But it did not matter. We were in a safe place and we appreciated it. We are a big rig and didn't want to unhook for the night. It was ok getting our 70 feet in safely. But maybe not if the place was busy. We camped at Coleman Park in a Motorhome.

Benchmark RV Park, Meridian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is an ok place to land if in the area. But anyone rating this park as a 10 is damaging the integrity of this site. It's nice enough and easy pull through for big rigs. All gravel and grass. Lots of walking area. Off the freeway. It's just what we needed. We camped at Benchmark RV Park in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Landing RV Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very rare opportunity to rate an RV park with a 100% positive review. They were so friendly and the park is spotless. The sites are large, concrete and grasss. Every site has considerable privacy.

It's hard to describe how nice this place is. We sat in front of our coach only feet from the river with grass everywhere. We didn't want to leave home to see the many attractions that are so close.

We found this place as a recommendation from a friend. We had reservations elsewhere and are so, so happy we changed.

We stayed for several nights. It's not likely we would ever be in this area again, but if you have the opportunity, don't think twice - stay here! They deserve more stars. We camped at Two Rivers Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

It was a good stay for us. I'm trying to ignore the fact the it was raining and had been before we arrived. Our front door opened to a mud puddle. I put a large outdoor rug over the mess because we have a dog. This is not the park's fault, other than the fact they could have better gravel near a coach's front door. Also, our Jeep parked in the mud the whole time. There were many sites that were less muddy and, to do it again I'd ask to move. We drove around looking.

We will be visiting Nashville again but we will never stay in this park again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Branson Lakeside RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Location, location, location......

This park is ideally placed for a visit to Branson. The park itself is nothing to write home about. It's actually kinda dirty. It's all dusty gravel and some sites are concrete. But any way you choose, you will be in some gravel and some dirt and some grass. BUT! You are on the water and next door to Branson Landing. We did many walks along the gorgeous waterfront.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and helpful.

We have already sent friends here for next year and if ever in Branson, we'll only stay here. Big rigs can easily maneuver this park. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camp A Way, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

It was an ok place. As I pulled in I was concerned about our side but it all worked out. It was gravel and grass areas. No complaints but it's no RV resort either. It's actually kinda cute. Winding roads and quite interesting. Overall a good place to stay. Nice big mature trees. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

It's ok. Big rigs can land here with room to spare. All gravel. Truck stop next door. Safe and clean place to stay. Their website kinda makes it look like an RV resort. Hmmm... Not so much. But nice place. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Twin Falls / Jerome KOA, Twin Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

It's a good place to stop over. All gravel but in good shape. We were able to pull through and not unhook. We had a nice long site. It was a good experience but nothing to get excited about.

It's a tad bit expensive for what it is and we don't usually consider cost that much. We camped at Twin Falls / Jerome KOA in a Motorhome.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

It's ok, but certainly not great. The sites are very tight for larger rigs. The BIG problem is the undependable power. We apparently had a power surge that tripped our inverter off while we were gone to a show. Thank goodness it wasn't too hot because both dogs were home alone. We came home to a mess with dead batteries (8 new AGM) and fault warnings everywhere since the AC had run down the batteries after the surge. I had read other reviews that commented on this issue but thought - oh, no, it's not a park issue. But now I know - oh, yes, it is a park issue. I wouldn't say to avoid this place, but be aware if this issue. BTW. It's a nice clean place and we'd probably come back. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $98.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice resort and the staff is extremely pleasant. On a whim we decided to stop here for several days which happened to start on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and they were able to fit us in. Very nice! This is a great destination for families with children because of the water park activities across the street. For us it was a bit crazy on the holiday with all the kids around - but they were just having a great time and it's so nice to see all the families enjoying their RVs and this beautiful resort. Some sites might be a bit crammed (the only potentially negative thing about the place) as some other reviewers stated but ours was perfectly private and quiet. The sites right by the entrance are the best in my opinion. The power (100 degree day with all A/Cs on) and cable and Wi-Fi all work very well. Great place, give it a try! We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Emerald Desert RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

RV travelers beware. This park is not as it is represented on their website. The sites are packed very tight (as little as two feet, backed in rear to rear in our area) and the property is sitting adjacent to I-10 and a very active train track. It is very noisy with trains going by every half hour or so around the clock. The staff and management were very unfriendly and not in the least bit helpful. Because the park was at 100% capacity, they acted as though we didn't matter. We stayed here for one week and, although the facilities are very beautiful and clean, will absolutely never return. We camped at Emerald Desert RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Redding , Redding, California

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We landed here on our way from Portland south. It was a very pleasant stay and a nice surprise to find such a comfortable and friendly park in such a convenient location. We will definitely make this one of our "regulars". The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a new section of large pull-through sites for big rigs. McDowell Mountain Regional Park, Scottsdale, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here while visiting family that spends much of the winter in nearby Fountain Hills. We ended up staying 10 days and it was amazing. The sites are huge and spaced far apart, making for the most privacy we've ever experienced as I can recall. The camp hosts were very kind and helpful. The park is impossible to reach by phone, but the online reservation system was a breeze. Thank you to Maricopa County for building this spectacular park. Because of this terrific experience, we are planning our trip for two weeks in 2013 and will be visiting from Oregon every year. Sitting outside, under the desert sky at night is priceless and something every RV owner would appreciate! We camped at McDowell Mountain Regional Park in a Motorhome.
