Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Wow! What more can be said. Water and electric sites are very private, some back onto lake with view of sand dunes. Full service sites are in open area with no privacy. Restrooms were very clean. Beach was about 1/2 mile on the camp road and never crowded. Bike paths, local shops and restaurants (and a Starbucks) within a mile by car or bike. A really super park. We camped at Grayton Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

St. Bernard State Park, Braithwaite, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice quiet campground very conveniently located (30 minutes) to many sights in New Orleans - French Quarter, Zoo, Aquarium. Campground sites and facilities were very well maintained. Pool was open 10-5 and there was a nice playground for kids. Very hot and humid in August! We camped at St. Bernard State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Love this campground but it is a busy one. Sites are a good size and the pool is really nice. The Horse Park is a great place to visit. There is golf nearby and bike paths too. The only thing we don't like is having to cut across other people's sites to get to the washrooms - there are no paths from the outer loop through the inner loop. we've camped here several times and been very happy each visit. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.
