Port St Lucie RV Resort, Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Close to retail. Road noise behind us due to location of retail space. If you're from Quebec you're love to be here with your fellow countrymen. Would probably not stay here again mainly because of the road noise. We camped at Port St Lucie RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cedar Hill State Park, Cedar Hill, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park while visiting friends in Arlington. It's about 15 miles away. The park is beautiful. We were given a site right on the water. We purchased an annual Texas pass, which saved us a lot of money on our continued stays at the other state parks during our trip. The sites were very well maintained and staff extremely helpful. We extended our stay an additional day because we liked it so much. Also located close to shopping and gas. We would stay again. We camped at Cedar Hill State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Texas RV Park of Big Spring, Big Spring, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice rv park. We stayed here in-transit to New Mexico. We liked it so much we stayed again on our return trip to Texas. We called in advance to reserve a space. They are very full due to workers there year round. Don't leave it to chance that they may have openings. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. She filled our propane tank for us and was very customer oriented. Only down side was the laundry. The dryers need to be upgraded; they didn't dry well and cost me extra quarters for the loads. But the laundry was a clean facility nonetheless. We would stay here again. We camped at Texas RV Park of Big Spring in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two nights. The manager was very personable and helpful. She provided us with a Roswell magazine that gave us excellent information about the city as well as listings for things to do, places to eat, etc. She clearly wanted us to enjoy our visit. We received a discounted rate because we paid by check rather than credit card. The park is located on the east side of the city so we were not bothered by excessive noise. She recommended Peppers grill for dinner, an excellent place, very good food, and excellent service. We would stay here again. Great place! We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Miss Ellie's RV Park, Waskom, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice place. The management was very accommodating when we had to delay our arrival a couple of days. Excellent cable and Internet connections. Sites were good size and relatively level. We arrived here in a steady rain storm and staff showed us to our site, didn't care if he got wet! He also brought us the cable channel guide, in the rain. Only negative, excessive highway noise as we were 150 yards from Interstate 20. We camped at Miss Ellie's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sunset Travel Park, Cottondale, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is an okay place for a one night stay. It is close to freeway so there was highway noise, but not too bad. They advertise Internet but don't see to care that it's not working. We had no internet connection whatsoever. Cable had good selection of channels. Nice level, pull through cement site. We camped at Sunset Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Chatfield State Park, Littleton, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 8 days. Easy pull in sites, all with paved surfaces. The sites were also far apart, which was nice. We were pleased to have very good Wi-Fi, which wasn't advertised. Lots of activities available, including the lake, nature trails, model airplane airport, etc. Our only complaint was how they handled the additional $8 per day park admission fee. Rather than including the fee into the camping rate, we had to pay for it separately. This was another $64 expense that we had to pay separately due to their unwillingness to lump the charges together. We would visit again. We camped at Chatfield State Park in a Travel Trailer.
