Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park for the first 5 of 7 days.. Next to last day, got up in the morning no water.. Had about 1/4 tank of fresh water.. Took showers and went to DC.. Stopped at the office, and asked the problem and asked when it would be back on.. Was told the city shut off the water across the highway and did not notify.. Was supposed to be back on that day.. We returned from DC and had a note on our door, stating that the park shut our water valve so brown water would not get in our coach.. Opened the valve and still no water.. The next (our last morning) still no water.. Not enough water to shower, or clean our tanks and sewer hoses.. Got hooked and went to the office.. Asked about the problem and was told "you have water" we did not.. No one else on our street had water either.. I asked for the one of two nights to be refunded and was told NOT OUR FAULT and we did not know.. Poor attitude.. We will never be back.. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kimball Creek Bend RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived on one of the hottest days of this summer. We stayed here five years back and it was great. I think it has new owners. We reserved spots on the water with water and electric, We asked for satellite friendly and did not get them. There are four sites on the water and two of them have trees. They would not let us move to the empty sites that had clear vision for satellite. So we accepted it and hooked up to their cable. Worked good.. While I was setting up my site, (our traveling friends were hooked up with a motorhome and all good). The breaker on the tower kept clicking off. As I said it was very hot. I asked at the front desk and she sent her husband to look at the breaker.. He said it was the heat and the breaker was good even though it keep clicking off. I asked if he would replace the breaker and he said no. I asked if I could move spots and again no. The owner then told me to check out of the park. We had just arrived for the first of four nights.. I checked all the other rvs in the park and the power was working in all of them.. Very rude new owners.. Sorry. We camped at Kimball Creek Bend RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay. Very small town. This park has Huge pull through sites with gravel, and lots of grass in between. The ladies in the office were really fun to deal with. Great Mexican food in town. We would stay here again. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
