We stayed here for Father's Day weekend. The hosts do a fantastic job of making the place lively and engaging. There's the giant checkerboard, the water soaker ride, the rustic pizza, and karaoke, just to name a few. It is clean and comfortable. The Virginia Safari Park is right next door and so exceeds all expectations.

This is an extremely difficult review. Wonderful facilities. Family shower rooms. Nice little store. GREAT PEOPLE! The problem is it STINKS. The place is too close to a cattle feed and farm. If your nose is easily offended, you will be very unhappy with this campground.

On a hillside, the sites were shady though not quite so flat. The pool was nice though a bit cold. Friendly people running the place.

Spartan and simple, with electricity only, it is flat with limited shade. Its access to the State Game Lodge and the activities there make it a good choice for exploring Custer State Park.

Just on the edges on the Badlands National Park, shady and flat, this is a lovely campground. The kids used the pool and the three-wheelers. The people were very helpful and friendly.

This is an incredibly picturesque camp location. It is adjacent to the entrance to Devils Tower. The views from our site were spectacular. We had flat, shady sites. The General Store with gift shop and restaurant was very impressive. The kids tooled around the place on three-wheelers. I kept looking for Roy Neary but never saw him (Close Encounters reference).

Cody KOA

Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay:

We heavily utilized this KOA including the shuttle back and forth to the Cody Night Rodeo, pancake breakfast, laundry facility, store, pool, and hot tub. It is gravelly and dusty to be sure, but it is a very accommodating place.

One of the few options in Yellowstone for full hookup RV camping. A good location for accessing the Grand Loop. General Store nearby. Level paved sites. Back-in only.

Very easy access to Jackson Lake and the Colter Bay Marina. The site was little tilted but nothing severe. General Store and access to dining was also a plus. Colter Bay is THE place to RV in Grand Teton.

Clearly, this place is pushing its contiguous, higher-end Fireside Resort Cabins. The campground portion was just fine, with clean restrooms and showers. Very comfortable.

We rented one of the deluxe patio sites with lawn chairs and were able to cookout on a charcoal grill. Wireless didn't reach us all the way in the back. Clean and friendly.

Arrived in Rawlins well after dark and left early the next morning. No problems getting in and out and no negatives as far as I could see. You are pretty well out in the open exposed to the winds, but so is everything else in that part of Wyoming.
