Peculiar Park Place RV Park, Peculiar, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The website claims this park welcomes ALL RVers, is a family friendly place. It is not. Children are not allowed. The owner is rude, there are no games or arcades which is also misrepresented on their website. There are only two unisex restrooms, one of which is always locked, and both located behind over full, and rodent infested garbage cans. The laundry is overpriced and machines don't operate properly. The sewage empties out behind the park, and if you are located on the back side, the breeze carries the smell right to you. We camped at Peculiar Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice place to stop for the night. Ample playground space and covered pavillion. A 10 if it had a pool. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Chemin-A-Haut State Park, Bastrop, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

After Sunday, the other campers left, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Great wooded campsites with firepits and grills and within a few steps from laundry (only $.75 to wash and dry!) and bathrooms and showers. Security drives through all night, and the front gate is locked, but you have the code to come and go as you please. Would gladly stay again and again. We camped at Chemin-A-Haut State Park in a Motorhome.
