The Barnyard RV Park, Lexington, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are extremely small, minimal amount of shade, bathrooms are clean right after cleaning which is every few days and filthy the rest of the time. We paid 834.00 for a month because we were not in a 2002 or newer camper and were denied the monthly rate. The manager is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered in the hospitality field. The electricity had amble power surges, wifi was free only for the first night, and you could smell the backed up sewer when walking around the park. I would not recommend this park, there is no where for kids to play or ride bikes, and the price is too high for a tiny site. And they do not appreciate their customers. We camped at The Barnyard RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Edisto Beach State Park, Edisto Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The lot size was very large and backed right up to the marsh. We had a fire pit, beautiful trees, and lots of shade. The kids had plenty of room to ride their bikes. This is definitely a true family friendly campground. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely camp here again. We camped at Edisto Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

The campsites were decent sized. Lots of places for kids to ride bikes, and had a playground. Easy access to fishing. Would recommend this campsite very family friendly. We camped at Santee State Park in a Travel Trailer.
