South Marcum Campground, Benton, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Many sites have separate parking for your tow. Some are close to areas where boats can be parked. Some FHU and some electric only. We camped at South Marcum Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, Corbin, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are short, and your tow most likely will have to park at the side of the road. The end of the loop was under construction to erect playground equipment while I was there. I took a site for a pop-up, as it had grass in front as opposed to chat. Restrooms clean. Wi-Fi available at the office/store, which was stocked with food/camping items. Tent sites were very nice and some built with platforms. Not much to do within the campground. We camped at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in a Travel Trailer.

Conley Bottoms Resort, Monticello, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed for a reduced price in their off season. I was the only camper in the W/E loop, but there were several in FHU area. Level, shady sites overlook several boat mooring buildings and the marina with store, cafe, and restrooms. Looks to be a busy place during summer. Well maintained and everything in working order. I used the on-site laundry. We camped at Conley Bottoms Resort in a Travel Trailer.

White Acres Campground, Bardstown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are rock based and many were unlevel. Interior road was being reworked and had large rock and not evenly spread. Bathroom doors did not shut properly. Wi-Fi available if you drive up to the pavilion. Bathrooms/showers located an equivalent of a couple of blocks from campsites. We did not have a picnic table, although some sites did have. We could have requested one, but did not. Check-in did not go smoothly, although I had reservations. We camped at White Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Big Meadow Family Campground, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

I had a beautiful site along Little River. There's a public road between the river and the sites, but it's not a big deal. Not much traffic. There's seating beside the river provided by the campground. The campground has beautiful landscaping, and the concrete pads and like-new picnic tables are great. We camped at Big Meadow Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cumberland Gap National Historic Park / Wilderness Road Campground, Ewing, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $17.00

Large camp sites with long pads. Fire pits and picnic tables in excellent condition. Showers are private rooms with space to keep items dry. In April the campground was very quiet. We camped at Cumberland Gap National Historic Park / Wilderness Road Campground in a Travel Trailer.

South Marcum Campground, Benton, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Some new bathrooms, asphalt pads, and additional sewer hookups ( and some sites) were added to this campground in 2011. This campground is usually full, and has many waterfront sites on a large and busy COE lake. It's close to a boat ramp and the dam. Walmart is about 2-3 miles. We camped at South Marcum Campground in a Travel Trailer.
