Quinte's Isle Campark, Cherry Valley, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

It is rated by woodall as one of the best... but for the $$ spent I have been in better rv campgrounds and paid a lot less. It is good rv campground but not the best. We camped at Quinte's Isle Campark in a Motorhome.

Haas Lake Park RV Campground, New Hudson, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this place because of it's locality and the lakes. The site we had was a 50amp, large lot, if you have 30amp, better buy an adapter. The WiFi was good, really not for heavy usage, it's free. We stayed the end of Sept for 3 days, nice and quite. It is a very big campground. I think they should look into renting golf-carts. Ideal for our liking. Will likely come back for longer stay next summer. I do notice that the short term stays the good sites are getting fewer. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Taylor's Beach Campground, Howell, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the only 2 sites that were full hookup. The rest of the full hookups are for the seasonal folks. The location was at the entrance, busy but quiet compared to the activities that was going on near the lake. The rest of the sites seem to be ok, but looked too close for our liking, especially if you have a noisy neighbor. The facility was acceptable and the seasonal units were kept in good shape. The Wi-Fi was a definitely hit and miss kind of event, but the staff told you that when you checked in. It was a nice 4 days rest. We tried this place because of it's short distance to get here. Likely go back for weekend getaway. We camped at Taylor's Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Krystal Lake Campground, Vassar, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park if you have a tent or a trailer and just want electric & water (E&W) and shade. If you want full service then it is not bad, but there is no shade. The full service lots are mostly dirt with very little grass and there is no waterfront. The WI-FI is only at the store and it is very slow, enough to do an email. We may go back, but this time it will be E&W with shade and along the waterfront. We stayed for 3 days and had full service. We camped at Krystal Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Sauder Village Campground, Archbold, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park and very clean. Shade is limited but there will be in a few more years. There are a few sites that are shaded. It is very quite during the week. To bad there is not a general store in this facility. It has the historical village, restaurant, and bakery but is missing a general store that is walkable. Stayed here for 3 days. The waterfront is for tents only and mostly occupied with ducks and geese. We camped at Sauder Village Campground in a Motorhome.
