Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor, Goodfield, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel streets and sites. Low hanging branches on trees. Many narrow sites. Poor placement of w/e/s hook ups. Not big rig friendly. Many seasonals, mostly in special areas. Some have added lean-to sheds. Many rentals for construction workers who leave for work at 5-7 am and hit the showers at 6-7 pm. This has a trailer park atmosphere. A good thing is the improvement of several W/E sites to include sewer hook-up. Children's activities were popular on the week-end. We camped at Timberline Campground (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resor in a Motorhome.

Elkhorn Campground, Frankfort, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful setting next to a creek. A well run family operation. Popular with groups. Paved streets and many paved pads. Some pull-through sites were too close together to allow extending awnings by adjacent units. The park is clean and recreational facilities are well maintained. We camped at Elkhorn Campground in a Motorhome.

Ozark Trails RV Park and Campground, Linn Creek, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Shaded sites, most tiered up a hillside. This is not a "parking-lot" campground but offers sufficient separation for comfort and relaxation. We did not use the beautiful pool or the bathroom/shower facilities. The staff was eager to make our stay the best. The water quality was very good, the cable TV and wi-fi worked well. Call for access advice as a new highway may not register. We will stay here again. We camped at Ozark Trails RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
