Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice facilities, but NO rule enforcement at the campground, like the wild west. Kids everywhere on motorscooters, driving golf carts, hoverboards, bikes and skateboards, playing soccer (please don't hit my new RV) in the streets. Dogs everywhere, dog poop everywhere, uncontrolled barking. Music eminating from the outdoor speakers at the pool/clubhouse area blaring all night across the campground. Employees driving golf carts fast while talking on the phone, with kids everywhere. Note: This was a weekend, things calmed down Sunday night when the large group of families left. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Big Oaks RV & Mobile Home, Spring Hill, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Many seasonal park models, well kept up, with nice, pull thru grass sites. No problem for my 40' motorhome. Paved roads. Very friendly and helpful owners and manager. Dated, small restrooms but clean, nice laundry facility and pool. Very affordable. Cute signs welcoming you "home." We camped at Big Oaks RV & Mobile Home in a Motorhome.

Fishermen's State Park and Campground, Narragansett, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very strict on check in time, even though my site was empty and it was an off season Monday, made me wait until 1 pm. A little too strict for my liking. Welcome to Rhode Island. We camped at Fishermen's State Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Frog City RV Park, Duson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly managers (Sharon & Judy). Worth the little bit extra for a a safe comfortable nights sleep. Free Wifi is great, 50 amp is great, water pressure and sewer are great, even has cable TV, wide enough roads, no trees! Easy on and off the highway. Clean. Pull thru was long enough to keep my toad hooked up to my 38' motorhome. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Arrowhead RV Park, Logan, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Good place for an overnight stop, that's it. Long concrete pads, sewer, 50 amps and wifi. No bathhouse. Friendly staff. Easy access right off Hwy 54, dusty and lots of burrs stick to your shoes and get tracked inside. No need to unhook your toad. Price reflects Passport America discount. We camped at Arrowhead RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wildwood State Park, Wading River, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground, full hookups, easy access, paved sites, although slightly un-level (bring boards or levelers of you don't have power jacks), no fire rings (you may rent them), not a lot to do in the area, long walk to rocky beach along path with tick warnings. TV reception was good with stations from New Haven. WiFi available if you log in with your Brighthouse/Optimum/Time Warner/Cox account. We camped at Wildwood State Park in a Motorhome.

Croton Point Park, Croton on Hudson, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park location, difficult access for large RVs due to bridge height restrictions on access roads and turnpikes. You must take RT 9 thru narrow city roads. Restrooms were disgusting because they haven't been cleaned in months. Many carnival workers staying there and seasonal workers weed whacking all day spraying my rig with rocks. One TV station so bring a dish. No WiFi. We camped at Croton Point Park in a Travel Trailer.

Salinas / Monterey KOA, Prunedale, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Good location, not too far to visit Monterey. All asphalt, narrow sites, awning to awning, lots of highway 101 noise. Manager was friendly and accommodating. Not a destination campground but a good base to see the area for a couple of days. We camped at Salinas / Monterey KOA in a Motorhome.

Golden Bear RV Resort, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great stop over spot to see the redwoods and visit Mystery of the Tree's. Managers were friendly, site was adequate for my 36' RV. No TV reception or cable, no WiFi, so bring some DVDs or use your satellite. Fish camp style with lots of small boats and seasonals. There are beautiful river views but it was cold with lot of sea fog even in August. Nothing in the campground for kids or activities. We camped at Golden Bear RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest, cleanest, well laid out RV park I've ever been to. Nice staff, office, and store, manicured level sites. Great location to visit Yellowstone. No pool or spa or else I would have given it a 10. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.
