We were surprised at how beautiful the park is being in the Los Angeles suburbs! We camped in the group camping section F, which consisted of groups of parking spaces with tables, fire rings and lots of grass for each group. The spaces were paved, fairly level and a good width for group camping. We had plenty of trees nearby for shade. Several sites had great views of Puddingstone Lake. The check-in staff seemed friendly enough, and the store was well stocked and had reasonable prices. There was nearby horseback riding and some walking trails, but we were only there for the weekend and did not get to explore all the activities. We would return, even though it is a little expensive.

We usually camp here during Thanksgiving, but came out for Labor Day. There are some trees, but not enough if it is a warm summer. Park is full on the holiday weekends. There is lots of grass and a giant playground for the kids. Lots of flat paved and dirt roads for bikes and walking. Spaces are mostly level dirt and are usually big enough for one slide out and awning. The lake is boat only, no swimming. Boat rentals and small store are good enough for weekend stays. This is a nice basic campground, close to Temecula wine country. Rangers are usually nice and helpful.

This is a great quiet gem of a park on the Bridgeport Reservoir. The couple that owns and runs the park were very nice and helpful the whole week we were there. The bathrooms and showers are the cleanest I have ever seen at any campground. The sites are nicely covered in gravel and level. Our site afforded a great view of the reservoir and picturesque sunsets. Lots of great fishing nearby, including the reservoir if you have your own boat. We were only one of two families with kids in the park, but the kids had a great time playing at the shore and running around the camp. We had over 20 cable stations and all the hook-ups worked well. WiFi only worked near the office, but there was a picnic bench and a counter in side to set your laptop on. The sites were a little narrow and the store didn't have too much to choose from, but other than that we really enjoyed out stay. We would definitely come back.

From check in to check out everyone was very friendly, even the dock man was great with the children and loading the boats. The campground has huge spaces with trees and at least half day shade. We really enjoyed the amount of space each site was given! The roads around the campground were a little narrow, making getting in and out of our spot a little more difficult than normal. The lake is a mile away and has great boat fishing and limited shore fishing. The store was well stocked and reasonably priced. A great place to spend a relaxing week, even with the kids!
