Hidden Ridge is a very clean park with large concrete padded sites. From the rollings hills to the log cabin style buildings and the large ponds, their website does not do the Park justice. The staff was extremely helpful from check-in to escorting us to our site. The manager and his wife were very nice and always made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The pool was the best that I have seen at any RV park. The "Big House" had a small video arcade and a large TV/DVD for kids/families to view movies in surround sound. They are in the process of building a pavilion and adding more sites by the pool area. The only negative aspect of Hidden Ridge is the placement of the dumpsters (in front by the entrance gate)and the large hills to get there. We have already made reservations for next month!

Our family loves Ponchos Pond. They run a really clean and affordable RV park. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The park offers many activities for young children not to mention a stocked fishing pond. There are many large pull-thru sites with concrete fire rings and daily trash pickup. The cable television has closed circuit television of the pools (one indoor, two outdoor), the game room and the laundry room. Great park. Already made reservations for next 4th of July.

Twin Mills is a great family park. Tons of things for the kids to do. They have a decent swimming pool, volleyball court, dodgeball court, basketball courts and plenty of riding trails. The beach by the lake is a great place for the kids to hang out. The Wagon Wheels make great sites for large groups. I believe that each of the Wagon wheels have 12 sites. My only complaints are that some of the sites are not very level and they vary in size. Some of the sites can be difficult to get into on the north side of the road. Also, we had exposed wires from our electrical hookup and it took three visits to the office and approximately 1-1/2 hours to get a maintenance man to fix it. Would recommend and we will be going back at end of summer.

Vacation Station was just sold to a company that are selling the lots individually. The staff was not very friendly. They will not allow carpets on grass sites or motorized scooters within the park. A friend of ours showed up on 4th of July weekend and was told that their original lot had been sold. The staff tried to place a 31 foot 5th wheel into a cramped site where the picnic table could not be turned to the side because it extended into the next site.

The Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds is in close proximity to many activities in the Elkhart County area. The sites are fairly large and the staff is helpful and accommodating. We are camping there again in the end of July 2006.
