Pagosa Riverside Campground, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a nice park but can be so much more if a little money was put into it. Nice sites right along the river. Grass or (weeds) between the common spaces could be watered and green and it would be more inviting than dirt. With Wolf creek right down the road, that is their competition. We camped at Pagosa Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Cagle Recreation Area, New Waverly, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground! Lake Conroe is your backyard. We stayed in site #30 which had a small view of water through the trees and a trail leading down to the walking trail and lake. Poor satellite receptions due to the trees. Sites were spacious but parking for extra tow vehicle can be a problem. People with boats were using the extra spots in front of campsites. Watch out for low tree limbs! Full hookups are nice in a campground. Sites are fairly level. We camped at Cagle Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were visiting friends that live in the area so we spent time with them on the lake and didn't do anything else while we were there.

Pioneer Acadian Village Campground and RV Park, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient off the I-10 but with that you can here the road noise. We had site 52, which was in the back. Less road noise because the trees and brush act as a sound barrier. Also if you are using your air you don't hear it! The lady at the office was so very friendly and helpful. It starting pouring rain as soon as we checked in and were unhooking our tow vehicle. She came out with umbrellas, so sweet! Close to Avery Island and the Atchalaya Basin the two things we were interested in doing during our stay. Hookups were good and we had excellent AT&T service. Wi-Fi was a little slow but able to use it, with patience. Spacing between sites were excellent on one side and close on the other. So you got privacy on one side. We camped at Pioneer Acadian Village Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Viento State Park, Hood River, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The only reason I gave this a 3 star rating was due to the trains that run directly in back of the park at all hours. You also get road noise from very busy highway. The park itself is very well kept and you do get power. The camp host was very friendly and did forewarn us about the train. If it wasn't for the train blowing it's whistle every time it goes by, you might get used to the train noise. We planned on staying here 3 nights but only stayed 2 and forfeited our third night's stay. I would not stay here again. We camped at Viento State Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for one night in a motor home. Very clean park and nice folks at the registration desk. Outside of the planes passing over head during the day, we didn't hear any at night. One other reviewer commented on a sewer odor and we also smelled that as well and thought it might be from another coach. We did not use the bathroom or the laundry facilities. We also opted out of the BBQ dinner and went to Jerry's cafe and had excellent New Mexican food! My only complaint I had was the WI-FI, we had a lot of trouble with it functioning well enough to get anything up online. I think it would be of benefit for the park owners to update their WI-FI system. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night. Very nice park! Nice pet area with plenty of room to let them run. Sites were nice and wide and had a picnic table and a grass area. Close to downtown Durango but far enough away to feel like you are not right in town. We would stay here again, very pretty surroundings and clean resort. The complaint I have is with the WI-Fi. I feel that when a park offers WI-Fi it should work fairly well. Not so with this park. It was very hard to do anything online. Very slow and I had to continually keep logging back on. I feel the owners of the park need to upgrade their system to better accommodate their guests. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.
