Hidden View Campground, Raymond, California

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground with great views of Hensley Lake. Unfortunately in 2017 the lake is very low. Located in the desert so don't be surprised to see lots of dry dead grass as you enter the campground. Great central location to drive to both Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Long but scenic drives. We camped at Hidden View Campground in a Motorhome.

Sycamore Grove Campground, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

First important fact is this is now a reservation only campground as of May 2017. No drive in's allowed. Also expect to see several large tents with lots of stuff outside. They appear to be permanent campers, disregarding the 14 day limit. Coin pay showers. Despite these facts, this is a good site for the money when paying the senior rate. Sites are level, paved but short, about 35 to 40 feet long. We camped at Sycamore Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Cross City R.V. Park, Corinth, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small and relatively new campground three miles south of Hwy 72 in Corinth. We stayed in one of the pull through sites. These sites are full service with both 30 and 50 amp service. There is a scenic view to the south and west with an open area of grass and pine trees. There are five pull through sites and five back in sites. We would stay here again when traveling through the area. We camped at Cross City R.V. Park in a Motorhome.

Watercress Recreational Area, Van Buren, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small Mark Twain National Forest campground located on the Current River in Van Buren, Missouri. The sites are all great, but none are electrical. There are two modern landings with access to the river. There is also a boat ramp. There is an outdoor cold water shower and clean flush toilets. There is a large day use area with two pavilions. Picnic tables and fire rings are located at all sites, plus extra tables and fire grates scattered through out the park. We camped at Watercress Recreational Area in a Motorhome.

Red Cedar RV Park, Bolivar, Missouri

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night between Christmas and New Years. We called ahead and were met by the manager who directed us to our site and helped us get hooked up. He was very friendly and helpful. Despite the cold weather outside, the bathrooms and showers were warm and very clean. We used the Passport America rate. A good spot for an overnight stay. We will use it again when we pass through. We camped at Red Cedar RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Triple J RV Park, Russell, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We were looking for a spot near Hays to spend a couple of weeks, and we decided this was the best campground from Ellis to Russell. The campground was very clean and well run. The manager is always busy keeping the place looking good, and uses a golf cart to guide you to your spot. We enjoyed our stay and will come back. The internet and cable TV were worth the money. We are Passport customers. We camped at Triple J RV Park in a Motorhome.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park last week and enjoyed the location for four nights. They were just completing their wireless system and it was nice to have free wireless internet in the camper. The sites were all level with crushed rock and nice grass areas between the sites. We especially enjoyed the pool, despite the fact that it was not very large. The bathrooms and laundry room were also nice. A nice Passport America campground. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.
