Poverty Point Reservoir State Park, Delhi, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a great little gem tucked away in Delhi, LA. Not much around, but the campground is very nice. Stayed in a pull thru and since kids are back in school it was really quiet and peaceful. Will stay again. Easy on and off interstate, even though you drive through the town. Thought the price was a little high for a state park with no cable service. Inside the park I missed the campground sign and one of the host happened to see me go by and flagged me down, got me turned around and took me to my sight. We camped at Poverty Point Reservoir State Park in a Motorhome.

Wakeda Campground, Hampton Falls, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is very woodsy, however plently of room to navigate the interior roads. Road signs to the campground are non-existent since they are located in residental area. GPS did take us right to the campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check-out time is 3:00 and the camper at our site did not leave until 3:15 so we had to pull into another site and wait for them to leave. Site was a back in and was very large to accommodate our motorhome and tow vehicle. Will stay again. We camped at Wakeda Campground in a Motorhome.

Wagon Wheel RV Resort, Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Park is easy access to I-95 and Old Orchard Beach area. The staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Campground is gated with electronic access cards given to the campers. Even though we didn't use the restrooms or laundry, they have one right next to the non-seasonal spaces. We will stay again. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sandy Pond Campground, Plymouth, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was clean and plenty of room to get into your site. Bourne Road is not the best getting to the campground, but slow and easy makes the day. The hookups; electric, cable and water is almost at the front of the site which barely worked with my 50 amp service cable. Could have used an extension. Would stay again if in the area as it is close to Cade Cod area. We camped at Sandy Pond Campground in a Motorhome.

Stateline Campresort & Cabins, East Killingly, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Camping over Memorial Day Weekend and the campground was very busy. Site was back in, but room to get in and out. Campground only has one road that goes in a out which is one lane, so it got busy. Also dump station is at the back of the campground which stayed busy since it was Memorial Day weekend. Will stay again. We camped at Stateline Campresort & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Seaport RV Resort, Old Mystic, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Passport America rate is honored for two days, so you get one day free. Stayed for four and but paid for three. The campground was very nice, enjoyed the stay in Mystic. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Some sites slope and will cause either front or rear wheels to be off the ground some, but was able to level. Will stay again. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Liberty Harbor RV Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was great and staff was able to book us on the Day Trip into New York which was great. Picked up at the main gate. Sites are close to each other and back in, but there is room to navigate. You cannot get any closer to NYC so that makes it worthwhile. We camped at Liberty Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed four days while visiting Philly. Close to Philly, so you pay the price as I considered it to be high. If you are headed north on NJTP, take exit 18. My GPS had me get off at exit 17. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Motorhome.

Ramblin' Pines Campground, Woodbine, Maryland

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 17 days, received weekly rate. Campground got a lot of business on the weekends and activities are planned. The camp staff was very friendly and helpful. The roads a little winded off the exit but navigable. Taking Hwy 97 off I 70 allows you to make a left turn into a lieu of taking Hwy 94. We camped at Ramblin' Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

Shenandoah Valley Campground, Verona, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Our stay was six days and it rained most of the time. Even though the campground is dirt, very little grass, it drained very well. The WIFI wasn't the best even with few people there during the middle of the week. Would stay again. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Lincoln State Park, Wesson, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The park is located down some pretty rough roads. I was worried, but there are a number of signs for the State Park, so I knew I was safe to keep going. Once at the park, the park was beautiful and sitting on a large lake. We stayed on a long weekend and the park was full for the weekend, but by Tuesday, it was quiet and peaceful. The site I was in, I could not put out my awning due to trees, but overall, it was great. We camped at Lake Lincoln State Park in a Motorhome.

Big Creek 10 Water Park, Soso, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This time of the year, the campground was quiet and very restful. The campground is easy on and off of US 84 and had a large enough sign to tell me to turn right when I GPS told me to turn left. I couple of tight turns and a few trees should be removed, but we were able to make the turns in our 40' with a tow. Will stay again. We camped at Big Creek 10 Water Park in a Motorhome.

Compass RV Park (formerly Indian Forest Campground), St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is just that and not worth the rate of $60.00 per night. The rate I received was Passport America and even at that I considered it high. WIFI was iffy, roads were dirt, parked on shells/gravel. Lost water numerous times.
On the fourth day of our five day stay, the office manager called me and asked me to please remove the Mississippi Flag I had displayed at my site. We fly the US Flag and our State Flag on our site. She stated she felt uncomfortable when she escorted other campers past our site and she indicated no one had complained.
We will not stay at this campground in the future. We camped at Compass RV Park (formerly Indian Forest Campground) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed in the park for 5 nights. The staff was very friendly, showed to site and assisted with parking. Very easy in and out and less than a mile off interstate. Some comments with made about being close, but you have room to sit outside and no problems with parking. We will stay again. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Motorhome.

Ivy Acres Lodge and RV Park, Piedmont, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is mostly full timers, however they have an area for the overnighters that is away from the lengthy stays. The area is dirt and some are hard to get level on. I stayed in 309 and back wheels were off the ground after parking on two 2x12s. Easy to get in and out of and would stay again if traveling through Greenville. We camped at Ivy Acres Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.
