Taos Monte Bello RV Park, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is an amazing campground. Perhaps the most picturesque and well run in northern New Mexico.

However, now there is either a kennel or other dog aggregation facility across the street. If you enjoy dogs barking all night this is the place for you. If you don't like dogs barking all night, bring noise cancelling headphones. This development is a shame. We camped at Taos Monte Bello RV Park in a Motorhome.

Everything about this campground is fantastic. For the RV sites excellent properties include: site privacy, convenience of hookups, view, picnic table quality, clean restrooms, site size, convenience of layout. I highly recommend this campground to any RVer in the area. We camped at Davis Mountains State Park in a Motorhome.

Twin Spruce RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park is probably one of the better RV parks I have seen near Ruidoso but it was very crowded when we stayed there. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are many nice sites in wooded areas that have decks but seemingly all of these are occupied by permanent residents. Pull-throughs are short, close-packed, and parking a tow vehicle at your site is a Tetris operation. I must assume there are better options in this beautiful area for short term RV stays, I just haven't found them yet. The gravel is well groomed. We camped at Twin Spruce RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bottomless Lakes State Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful, clean, well designed RV park. The pull-through sites are spacious, well groomed, and have hookups located conveniently. The sites near the lake have a great view, privacy, and yet no satellite blockages. These sites have very nice metal/concrete covered picnic table areas. The only reason this is a 9 and not a 10 is the showers which are slow to heat and on a short timer. We camped at Bottomless Lakes State Park in a Motorhome.
