Denver East / Strasburg KOA, Strasburg, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Park was easy to find and access from IH70. Check in was efficient and followed cart to our site. Site made up of dirt, gravel & patched asphalt. Not very level but was able to work with it. Length of site just barely accommodated my 40' rig with jeep toad. Was a satisfactory over nite stay but not the standard I expect when paying the "KOA premium". Also, there was excessive highway noise but a/c drowned most of it out at nite. We camped at Denver East / Strasburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Canyon Trail RV Park, Boulder City, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, quiet park, and reasonably priced. Site was very level with small tree between sites so minimal shade. Convenient location to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead recreation area. Easy to maneuver in the park for a 40' + tow. Stayed there 2 nights and would go back. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Goodland KOA, Goodland, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

No advanced reservation (just passing thru) and site did not have sewer (can't remember any KOAs that DID NOT have sewer), but at check-in, host did have a site open up with sewer but original site appeared more accommodating for me so sewer was low priority. Park appeared very clean and well kept but basic...ala reasonable price. Host and wife were very friendly and helpful. Very nice "passing thru" park and would stay there again. We camped at Goodland KOA in a Motorhome.

Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very pleasant park but nothing fancy. Full hookups were very satisfactory, but my pull through did not accommodate the tow car (attached). Don't know that I remember seeing any sites long enough for 40' + tow car, so ask, don't assume. This park is south of Moab, approximately 10 miles from Arches N.P. Office attendant was very polite and helpful. Trees in-between sites are pretty full leafed and interfered with my satellite reception. Stayed there 2 nites and would probably stay there again. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ardmore / Marietta Campground, Marietta, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Host was very accommodating and friendly. Offered Good Sam discount, price was reasonable. Park is very "rough" with gravel/caliche (dusty), very run down, sharp turns. Was very suitable for a short, overnight stay, but nothing more. We camped at Ardmore / Marietta Campground in a Motorhome.
