I gave this park a top rating because it usually is. One of our favorite. We were lucky to get in. It just reopened a coupe weeks ago. Last years rains flooded almost the entire park with probably 20 to 30 feet of water over most of the camping area. Two areas stayed above water and are now open with full hookups. The cleanup is going to take some time. The water is still over a few of the camp sites. Truly heartbreaking. Nice quiet park with lots of space between sites and most of the D and E loops which are now open are in shade.

As you drive into the RV park on the access road (kinda from the grocery store parking lot and behind the restaurant) you might wonder what you are getting into. But the park is a very nice place to stay, especially if your on the road. The park only has about 25 sites as of now but there are about 10 pull thru sites in the middle that can handle the biggest coach with tow attached. No showers or restroom but still a good value as full hookup and cable were very good. You do get some noise from the interstate but not unbearable. Level gravel site with nice grass between.

This was a nice clean park. Spaces are a little close together and can be a little short but OK for us. Staff was friendly and the store well stocked. There is road noise if you are up front like we were but it did quiet down into the evening. They have a nice pool and as others have mentioned, they have live entertainment several nights a week. Easy access from major interstates off the loop around Nashville. Nice for a one night stay or several while visiting Nashville. They did have a dog walk area and small playground for kids. Definitely less expensive than several parks in the area.

It's a KOA. Roads and sites are gravel. Yes they have the playground and a nice pool and putt-putt. And they go out of their way to give you good service. But the park needs to clean up a few things. Poison ivy climbing up the trees, looked like they sprayed the grass in many of the sites around us with grass killer in large areas. We arrived on a Sunday and the trash dumpsters were overflowing and were not emptied until Wednesday. Flies were terrible. We also rented a cabin for a guest. Overpriced at $70.00 for a bunk bed and twin bed, no bathroom. It was obvious the floor hadn't seen a broom or mop in weeks.

This is a good overnight stopping point located just 2 miles off the interstate. We were lucky enough to get a site up on top. These sites were staggered are so we weren't looking at the neighbors sewer. Site was a concrete slab and level enough to we didn't unhook for the night. Other sites were down the hill with gravel but seemed level and were side to side. Park was quiet and managers were friendly.

One of our favorite places to stay on our way cross country. It is a few miles off the North loop around Little Rock but usually quiet. Located right on the Arkansas River. Some sites back right up to the river on loop B. Most sites on Loop B are shade or partial shade except for sites on far end.

The park is older but the owners are working very hard to upgrade and make repairs. They are in the process of building a lazy river float area. Don't think it will be ready for this season but it will be a nice addition. Nice grass between each site but minimum shade. A little close but not bad. It will be a nice family park once all additions are make. It is 10 miles back into Galveston where all the action really is located. Owner/hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

This has to be one of our favorite Texas State Parks. There is nice spacing between the sites with many of the sites having mostly or half shade. They are upgrading sites with limited shade to provide a shelter over the picnic table. The park is quiet from outside noise (interstate). Phone service is limited.

I hate to be a downer but, don't be fooled by the word "resort". It's associated with the resort and hotel across the street from the RV park. That is about the extent of it. Site was a concrete slab and level. That was good. Between sites was what was suppose to be grass. It was mostly dirt. The pool and clubhouse were very nice as was the laundry facility. This was 9 miles further away from Big Bend entrance and I didn't feel it was worth the extra drive. Barely satisfactory.

This is a very clean park with easy access from interstate but far enough away that it wasn't noisy. Sites were easy to access, and level so that we didn't have to unhook for the night. Sites are a very clean gravel. I was impressed because as soon as a site was vacated, someone was there to clean and rake the site with a leaf rake so you knew it had attention. I would stay here again. Only complaint is that the rigs were parked together with about 6 feet between, driver side to driver side and other side with room for awning with a few feet to spare.

This is a very nice Texas State Park with some sites with full hookup. WE did stay on one of the loops with sewer. The only downside was our site along with others on this loop was that they were not level front to back so these sites were not good for motorhomes. Trailers seemed to be ok. We will come back to this park if in the area.

This is a very nice park. Site pads were concrete pads and very lever. We were able to stay hooked up overnight. Friendly staff during reservation call and once arrived. This was our first time to stay here but will be back as we pass thru here almost every year. The park is truly an oasis about 9 miles outside of town which means it's quiet. Stock up on your groceries before you go since it's a drive back to town.

This is quite a ways off the beaten path but very nice park. They have a small store with minimum supplies. Employees are very nice to deal with. Park was clean and well maintained. Biggest problem was no public phone, no Wifi, and AT&T service did not exist for miles around. We had a level back in site right on a cove off the lake.

Very nice park with full hook ups. Site was level and shaded. Overall the park was very nice. Lots of space between trailers. We had a back in site.

Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. Sites were clean but close with minimum space to park the truck. The park has both W&E and full hook-up. It's strange that they do not take reservations for the full HU, only the W&E sites. When you arrive and there is a full site available, you can take it. we were able to get a full site when we arrived but just by luck. They don't enforce the checkout time but a rig just left at 4:30 when we arrived.
